Our Story

medipee GmbH was founded in 2017 by Thomas Prokopp, Paul Bandi and Frank Willems. Medipee has set itself the goal of improving the quality of life of people significantly through simple and automated health care.

The motivation for the development of our product was a disease discovered too late, which would have been diagnosed earlier by regular urine testing. During the research we realized that the average person visits to the toilet up to six times a day. But the significant health information contained in urine usually disappears in the toilet.

With the technology developed by medipee, this information is now available in a convenient manner. The core of the medipeeplatform consists of an app that can be linked to a digital measuring device. The measuring device is attached to the outside of the toilet. When activated, the device detects urine flow, the automatic measurement takes place in a few seconds.
