Hiro Pilates Studio offers several types of classes including private and semi-private in a peaceful and relaxing environment. Group classes are taught in various sized groups (from 4 to 10 students), which makes the exercises more fun and creates a nice social dynamic. Our goal here is to help you rediscover the right balance between mind and body. At first, the focus will be put on studying the body and breathing, which will enable the building of inner muscles and core body strength, as well as the recovery of original bodily functions and flexibility. In intermediate and advanced classes, body alignment will be particularly emphasized. Pilates is a universal form of exercise and age is never an issue. At Hiro Pilates Studio, we provide a variety of classes, with levels ranging from beginner to advanced, and programs from weight loss to muscle training.

— My approach and philosophy around Pilates🌏

✨ For me, Pilates is empowerment, connection, passion, and ikigai — a reason to move with purpose.

💫 Rooted in history and meaning, this rich method lives through breath, concentration, alignment, centering, control, flow, and precision.
Each principle is not just practiced, but felt.

🌿 Pilates is a powerfully intelligent movement system, approaching the body from the inside out. It invites inward reflection, cultivates deep awareness, and builds strength with intention.
This is a sustainable, lifelong approach to movement — one that honors the body, sharpens the mind, and supports long-term vitality.

🌱 Today, my work focuses on supporting both clients and teachers through a deeper body–mind connection, informed by biomechanics, fascia, and the body’s innate intelligence.

🎓Educating and mentoring Pilates instructors is a central part of my work — guiding teachers toward clarity, embodiment, and sustainable teaching practices they can carry into their own studios and communities!

🌱 It’s a little late but —

We’ve moved to a new studio!

At the end of last year, I got an unexpected notice to leave the old space. Honestly, I was pretty stunned as I loved that place so much, I thought it might be the last studio I’d ever need…🫣

But well —
No matter how old we get, it’s never a good idea to put limits on what’s possible 😅

There’s always something greater waiting!!
And challenges show up when they’re meant to.

Finding a new space was again a luck🍀
This was it!

It’s got a different vibe from before, and I admit, the energy is strong, solid and honest yet calm and charming! Also it’s in an historical building that’s been loved and cared for over generations, in a neighborhood full of history.
Being here really makes me feel grounded — in the best way.

I’m in love with it ❤︎

So here we are, at the start of a brand new chapter.
On to the next step —
time to spread our wings and fly 🕊️

🌱少し遅くなりましたが、ご報告ですー
このたび、スタジオを移転しました！

昨年末、思いがけず旧スタジオの退去願いを受け取り…
あまりにも大好きな空間だったので、正直しばらく呆然としていました。
ここが最後の場所かもしれない、そう思うほど惚れ込んだ場所でした。

でも──
いくつになっても、未来を狭めるような言葉を言うものではない😅
“上には上がある”。
チャレンジは、常にやってくる。

そして今回、新スタジオとの出会いは再び “ご縁” の賜物。
またもや一目見て即決しました。

タイプはこれまでと違い、正直すぎるほどのエネルギーに圧倒される瞬間もありましたが──
代々大切に引き継がれてきた建物、戦火を逃れ今もなお歴史が息づくエリア。
「地に足をつける」とはこういうことかと、身をもって感じられる場所です。

好き❤︎

また新しい幕開け。
次のステップへ。
飛躍するのだ🕊️
