Success Habits Workshop – May Edition 🥳

Huge thank you to our amazing participants today! Each of the 18 people created the space to work on their goals, mindset, and implementation.

What stood out: the mix of clarity and courage in the room. Some came with very defined goals, others were still exploring – but everyone made progress by showing up and doing the work. 👏

Success habits aren’t just theory. They’re simple principles, applied consistently:

How can we maintain resilience and energy despite our complex and intense lives? ✨

It is about physical and emotional health, which must be given, right up to the ability to perform at peak levels on a regular basis. Generally speaking, there are 4 dimensions (hygiene and growth factors) that we need to consider.

4 Dimensions of Self-Renewal:
1️⃣ Body: Exercise at least 2-3 times per week. Be conscious about your nutrition. Rest sufficiently, manage your stress.
2️⃣ Heart: Nurture the relationships you care about and take time for your beloved ones. Invest into these "emotional bank accounts".
3️⃣ Mind: Read, write, learn and study study ideally every day.
4️⃣ Spirit: Reflect on your mission and values, give meaningful service to others and greater goods, read inspirational literature, meditate and connect with nature.

Remember, all of those are so-called "Q2 activities" - which means that they are important and not urgent for you (time matrix). You should prioritize such activities sufficiently. Follow Bright Minds, and you will learn more about prioritization and how to plan these activities into your day and week in separate videos. Are you a lucky person? 🍀

Luck is the meeting of preparation and opportunity. Your personal “luck factor” is something that you can be proactive about and influence.

Being aware of your ability to influence the likelihood of good things happening to you is an important paradigm when it comes to truly owning your own success - and the success of the people you lead and influence.

A quote from Thomas Jefferson underlines this very well
“I owe all of my success to luck. The interesting thing is, the harder I work, the luckier I get.”

Here are 4 strategies to increase your “luck factor”
✅ Strategically create an opportunity system and radar, to create, notice and act upon opportunities. This includes: 1/ Make time and space for opportunities, this includes mental space as well. 2/ Go to places regularly where good things are likely to happen. 3/ Create a network of luck, with people who let you know about new opportunities and support you when it comes to seizing them.

✅ Expect to Be Lucky: Through a positive focus, you will naturally identify & create more positive outcomes.

✅ Use your unconscious mind. That means, listen to your Instincts and trust your creativity and intuition, to identify “weak signals" that hint you towards outstanding achievements and moments. Or to give a very simple example, metaphorically and non-metaphorically speaking, to find $100 💵 on the street.

✅ Have a gain focus, this means look on the bright side: You can find something positive in any situation. For example, simply replace the word “failure” by “feedback” or "learning experience". Or replace the word “loss” with “room for new things”. Through this gain focus, you will become more lucky in any business and life related situation.

Why is passion so important to keep your energy up? 💡 Passion is a source and co-creates your fuel for success.

Passion can be defined as an intense desire or enthusiasm for something. Or even more simply put, passion is the expression of "wanting to live life to the fullest" (Richard Branson).

Why is passion so important?
1️⃣ In the same way that a flame provides heat and light, your passion provides energy and clarity for your life. Without Passion, you don't have energy. Without energy, you have nothing. (Warren Buffet)
2️⃣ Hard times will come. And passion is what makes the difference: the passionate people go on. The "rational" ones just give up. (Steve Jobs)
3️⃣ Passion is the foundation for an entrepreneurial mindset. (Robert Dilts)

Do you know your passion? There are great techniques to find it out, and it all starts with what you really love, what makes you excited and what brings you a deep sense of enthusiasm and energy. If you do not know your passion yet, you can explore it together with your coach. Or you can get into a deep state of reflection and ask yourself the following questions:
❓ What do I really love to do, and what about that makes me love it?
❓ What am I excited about, and what excites me about it?
❓ What do I find super compelling and interesting?
❓ What brings me a very deep sense of energy and enthusiasm?

Once you have clarity about your passion, and there can be several elements to it, you have found the highest source of resiliency, and a battery that, if managed well, never runs out of power. And once you have found it, you can connect it to practically anything you do.

Our mindset is about what we believe to be true about ourselves and about life. Our Mindset shapes our perceptions, influences our actions, and ultimately determines our outcomes.

Our mindset shapes our reality. By nurturing a positive, resilient, and growth-oriented mindset, we unlock limitless potential and pave the way for meaningful transformation.

In today's world, there are limitless opportunities right in front of us. Once we know what we want and trust in ourselves, we can just go get it: with a success mindset and by defining a clear purpose and mission, by establishing powerful habits, by focusing and prioritizing, and by holding ourselves accountable for achieving the results we want.
