What an inspiring day! Not only did we enjoy outstanding lectures and discussions, but participants also experienced a Cultural Tour across historical Assyrian Suryoye
heritage sites and churches — open to everyone, not only doctors. 🙏🏛️

🌍✨ WMAS 5th Medical Congress has officially begun in Midyat!

The historic event, organized by the World Medical Association of Suryoye (WMAS), gathered doctors, professors, and guests from across the world to Midyat and Mardin – the crossroads of ancient civilizations and cultures.

The opening ceremony was attended by government officials, university rectors, and church leaders, highlighting the importance of unity, science, and collaboration within our global Suryoye community. 🤝

Keynote speakers include Prof. Dr. Fuat Oduncu (Germany), Prof. Dr. Azad Baranto (Sweden), and Dr. Evgihin Matlup Beğtaş (Turkey), among others. The congress will continue in Mardin at Artuklu University on October 10–12, 2025, with scientific sessions and social programs.

Together, we celebrate knowledge, culture, and humanitarian spirit under one mission — to advance health and solidarity within the Suryoye and global medical community. 🩺🌿

🌍✨ WMAS 5:e medicinska kongress har officiellt startat i Midyat!

Det historiska evenemanget, organiserat av World Medical Association of Suryoye (WMAS), samlade läkare, professorer och gäster från hela världen till Midyat och Mardin – en mötesplats för urgamla civilisationer och kulturer.
Vid öppningsceremonin deltog representanter från regering, universitet och kyrkan, vilket underströk vikten av enhet, vetenskap och samarbete inom vårt globala Suryoye-samhälle. 🤝
Bland huvudtalarna finns Prof. Dr. Fuat Oduncu (Tyskland), Prof. Dr. Azad Baranto (Sverige) och Dr. Evgihin Matlup Beğtaş (Turkiet), med flera. Kongressen fortsätter i Mardin på Artuklu Universitet den 10–12 oktober 2025, med vetenskapliga sessioner och sociala program.
