🖐️ Individuelle Versorgung auf Maß bei komplexen Handverletzungen

Nach einem schweren Sturz, wie zum Beispiel einem Fahrradunfall, können Verletzungen am Handgelenk – wie eine TFCC-Läsion (Triangular Fibrocartilage Complex) – besonders schwierig zu versorgen sein. Der TFCC im Handgelenk fungiert als wichtiger Knorpel- und Bandkomplex an der Kleinfingerseite. Genau hier kommt individuelle Orthopädietechnik ins Spiel, denn eine präzise und individuell angepasste Versorgung ist entscheidend für Heilungsverlauf, Funktion und Schmerzreduktion.

👉 Für unseren Patienten haben wir nach einem Sturz im Betrieb und anschließender Operation diese maßgefertigte Handgelenk-Orthese mit eingefasstem Ellenbogen erstellt:

✔️ gefertigt aus Niederthermoplast und somit passgenau direkt am Patienten angeformt

After a severe fall, such as a bicycle accident, injuries to the wrist – like a TFCC lesion (Triangular Fibrocartilage Complex) – can be particularly challenging to treat. The TFCC is an essential cartilage and ligament complex on the ulnar side of the wrist that plays a key role in stability and function.

This is exactly where individualized orthopedic technology comes into play: precise, custom-tailored care is crucial for healing, function, and pain reduction.

👉 For our patient, following a workplace accident and subsequent surgery, we created this custom-made wrist orthosis with an extended elbow frame:

Diagnose Kielbrust?

Bei einer Kielbrust (Pectus carinatum) wölben sich das Brustbein und die Rippen im Brutskorb sichtbar nach außen – eine Veränderung, die oft schon im Kinder- und Jugendalter auftritt. Für Betroffene kann das sowohl körperlich als auch psychisch belastend sein. Doch die gute Nachricht für alle Eltern und jungen Betroffenen: Eine Operation ist nicht immer nötig!

In enger Zusammenarbeit mit dem Dr. von Haunerschen Kinderspital haben wir für einen jungen Patienten diese hochfunktionale Kielbrustorthese aus superleichten Carbonfasern entwickelt.

Die individuell angepasste Orthese in der Kinder-Orthopädietechnik korrigiert die Vorwölbung des Brustbeins mittels Pelotte und nachstellbarem Gelenk. So kann der Patient den Druck auf die betroffene Region selbst regulieren. Medizinisch schonend wird dabei ein sichtbar kosmetischer Erfolg erzielt – ohne OP und mit besonderem Augenmerk auf Komfort & Passform.

Diagnosis: Pectus Carinatum?

With pectus carinatum, the breastbone and ribs protrude visibly outward – a condition that often develops during childhood or adolescence. For those affected, it can be both physically and emotionally challenging. But here’s the good news for parents and young patients: Surgery is not always necessary!

In close collaboration with the Dr. von Hauner Children’s Hospital, we developed this custom-made, high-function orthosis from super-light carbon fibers for a young patient.

This individually tailored orthosis in pediatric orthopedic technology corrects the protrusion of the breastbone using a pad and an adjustable joint. This allows the patient to regulate the pressure on the affected area himself. Visible cosmetic results are achieved in a medically gentle manner – without surgery.

We manufactured this custom-made low-temperature thermoplastic orthosis to immobilize and provide functional support for a metacarpal fracture (fracture of the metacarpus) directly in our own in-house workshop.

💡 Thermoplastic adjustment directly on our patient results in a precisely fitting, comfortable treatment—with optimal support and high wearing comfort in everyday life.
