A repair we’re really proud of. This knit had a burn hole which was quite large + the item is double-sided, which meant we had to restore the structure on both sides to keep the thickness even.
A lot of careful work went into this repair, but the result was worth it.

In this video, we repair a white sweater. The mend looks invisible, but if you look very closely you may notice the fabric is slightly thicker in the repaired area. This happens because the yarn overlaps during the repair. On darker or heavier knits this can’t be seen, but on very fine knits it can sometimes be visible when examined closely.

Before every repair, we check your knits under our custom lights to spot even the smallest holes. This helps us find damage early and repair it before it spreads.
Tip for home: hold your sweater against a bright window. Small holes become much easier to see.
