We start by preparing the plantar fascia with a fast rolling technique — gently waking up the sensory receptors in the feet to prepare the entire posterior line for dynamic loading.
Then, through soft bouncing, the fascia begins to reload.
Finally, we move into Rebound Elasticity — light, springy movements that help restore the natural crimp of the collagen fibers within the tendons.

This crimp is what gives fascia its elasticity, resilience, and bounce — and training it regularly helps to keep tendons strong, hydrated, and injury-resistant.

Every yogi should integrate this kind of fascial training 2–3 times per week to maintain healthy, responsive tissue. 🌿

Most people think our body is made of separate parts — muscles, bones, joints.
But in truth, it’s one interconnected system, held together and organized by fascia.

What you see here is a tensegrity model — it shows how tension and compression constantly balance each other.
When one part moves, everything responds.

That’s why tight shoulders can come from tense feet — and why working with your fascia changes how your entire body moves and feels.

Fascia in Motion & Emotion.
A 3-day retreat in Rome exploring how movement, stillness, and emotion weave through the living fabric of the body.

I’m honored to join as a guest teacher,
together with an incredible team of fascia educators and movement experts.

Over three days, we’ll explore fascia through science and embodied practice —
how it moves, senses, and responds to emotion —
and how we can meet it with awareness, precision, and presence.

Every action you take in your body has a consequence.
Fascia responds to how you move — or how you don’t.

👉 Use it or lose it.

When you move with awareness, variety, and elasticity, your fascia becomes hydrated, resilient, and alive.
When you neglect it, it starts to degenerate — fibers lose orientation, glide decreases, and stiffness appears.

Just like in yoga philosophy: every action creates a reaction.
The body you have today is the result of how you’ve treated it in the past —
and the body you’ll live in tomorrow is being shaped by what you do today.

So treat your fascia well.
Move with intelligence.
And give your students the tools to build a body that truly serves them — from the inside out.

When you don’t move your fascia adequately, it simply starts to degenerate.
Just like any living tissue, fascia needs variety, rhythm, and gentle tension to stay hydrated, elastic, and responsive.

In my book, I call this the “Good Karma” of fascia — giving your tissue what it needs to stay alive.
Every time we move too repetitively or hardly move at all, we create “Bad Karma” —
fibers lose orientation, hydration decreases, and the tissue becomes stiff and less communicative.

Your fascia doesn’t need more effort — it needs intelligent movement.
Movement that creates micro-loads, multi-angle impulses, and elastic recoil.
That’s how it stays youthful, adaptable, and full of life.

🪶 So ask yourself:
Are you feeding your fascia good karma today?

Tightness in your diaphragm doesn’t just affect your breath —
it ripples through your entire fascial network.

In this practice called Diaphragm Trampoline, we use gentle rebound elasticity to release fascial tension around the diaphragm.
As this area softens, space opens through your abdominal fascia, your pelvic floor, and even your breathing pattern.

It’s a beautiful preparation for Kapalabhati and any pranayama that needs inner spaciousness.

✨ Feel how fascial elasticity supports emotional release — not by forcing the breath,
but by freeing the tissue that carries it.

👇 Try it and tell me how it feels in your body.

Wrist discomfort in yoga is rarely just a local issue.
The fascial chain that supports the hand begins at the fingertips
and connects through the palm into the forearm.

This Rebound Elasticity exercise for the fingers
helps rehydrate and awaken that entire chain —
so the wrists and elbows can carry load with more ease and elasticity.

Teach it before weight-bearing postures
to prepare your students’ hands from the inside out —
through rhythm, awareness, and subtle fascial activation.

It’s a small addition to your classes,
but it changes how the whole upper body experiences support. 🌿

BOOK

In this short passage from my book,
I read and talk about the most common mistakes I see in Rebound Elasticity — especially in Fascial Jumps. 🌿

Many yogis love the playful feeling of these elastic movements —
but the truth is: when the impulse becomes too muscular,
when the joints compensate,
or when the ground contact lasts too long,
the movement loses its elastic quality.

Instead of strengthening the fascial spring system,
it exhausts the tissue and overloads the joints.

Rebound Elasticity is about rhythm, timing, and sensitivity —
not force.
When practiced correctly, it reawakens your body’s natural bounce
and keeps your connective tissue healthy and responsive.
