When I received this photo, I knew I had to post it!

"But you're so blurry," you might be thinking...

That's exactly why I loved it! This photo was taken during a recent Mindful Mama Sensory & Support class and I love that it shows not only how we all get down and engage with each other's babies but also, how I am not the focus of the class, the Mamas and their babies are the focus!

It brings me joy each week to experience, right alongside these brand new Mamas, the wonder and joy of each new benchmark. In one of my classes this round, we have three babies turning one! Three babies and Mamas who have mastered the steep learning curve of their 1st year together. It's something to be proud of and something that I am so excited to be able to share with them. 🥳

And now for something completely different! 😃

Today, I'm facilitating a Liberating Structures Workshop at the Plattform Menschen Conference. There is a whole other side to my work with Mindful Mama that I rarely remember to post about, and that pulls deeply from my work as a facilitator with Liberating Structures. This conference, in particular, is bringing me back to my Public Health roots and my work with the Public Health Reserve Corp in Seattle. I am really honored to be able to bring this other area of my work to the forefront today and can't wait to see what the rest of the conference brings.

All ready to start my 1st ever Spinning Babies Parent Education Class ! I am looking forward to meeting the families and helping them to bring more balance to their bodies and make a bit more room for baby. I only wish we could do the class outside on this beautiful day!

Four years ago today, my rainbow baby made his arrival. It was earlier than we had hoped and the scariest thing I have ever been through, but thanks to the incredible team .clemi, he and I both survived the long journey with and .

Earlier this morning, a new little earthling also made their arrival to the arms of their loving new parents at the same hospital. It was a wild experience to be back there last night, at the side of a birthing Mama, whose baby was about to share my son's birthday. The universe is funny... just like us, their journey had some twists, but baby and Mama are together and well. And I'm grateful to have been a part of their journey as their Doula.

I am just as grateful today, four years later, for the care and expertise that both my client and I experienced by the team .clemi and I want to wish a very Happy Birthday to my little man and to his new birthday buddy. 🎂 I also want to give a massive pat on the back to my client last night and to myself as well. It's not just the baby's birthday, it's our birth-day too. Happy birth-day Mama! The journey to motherhood isn't always smooth, but it is definitely worth it. ❤️

Great minds think alike!
I invited to come and speak to my baby sensory classes this week, and when she showed up today, we were completely twinning. Faux leather pants and a navy cardigan is apparently look for Spring 2025. 🤣

What an exciting and unexpected surprise! An old friend of mine from MY last Fabel Baby Group, 3 years ago, showed up in my class today! I was thrilled to see her and even more thrilled to meet her new daughter. 🥰

We had a fantastic class today and a lovely group of Mamas. In an unexpected turn, all the babies are girls! 😅 Looks like the next 10 Wednesdays are going to be a real "Girls Day Out." ❤️

I just wrapped up a power lunch with the lovely and lively Daphna from . Starting in September, in addition to hosting my Mindful Mama Meetup at the center, I'll also be offering a new class for English speaking families. I'm so excited to be undertaking an official collaboration with the team there and can't wait to jump in. More on that coming soon, so stay tuned!

Yesterday, we took our Mindful Mama Meetup outside! We met up briefly at our beloved and then decided to take advantage of the beautiful day and went out to the park. It was a lovely mix of Mamas and Mamas2b, and there was no shortage of conversation. And great teamwork! I had to leave a bit early yesterday, but one of the lovely Mamas took over clean up for me so they could hang out and I could make my appointment. I was so grateful to be able to lean on our little community yesterday, and as always, I am so happy that folks keep coming and connections keep building. We can't do it alone, Mamas! 💪❤️

Hello everybody, I'm back! It was a wonderful experience to be able to participate in a Mutterkur, AND I'm happy to be home. 😊

I'll be sharing more details about my experience doing a Mutterkur shortly, but for now, I will say it was worth it, and I'm grateful to have had the opportunity.

Three weeks away is a long time! This was the longest that I've been away from my guys, and it wasn't without its challenges. But I think we've all learned a lot and are coming together again with a renewed appreciation for the beautiful chaos that we call home.
