Remembering your wholeness — doing our work and living the lives of our lives instead of standing on the side of the dance floor. Not courageous enough to lay our fears aside, but ashamed of ourselves.
There is massive human potential, yet we keep playing small. And don’t get me wrong: being an arrogant as***le, unaware of anyone or anything, is not the way. But honestly… self-sabotage — always saying I can’t do this or that or not being brave enough to step out of our fears — is just as ignorant and self-centered as the first version.
So let’s try to live a little more compassionately with ourselves and with others (where there is compassion, there is no pushing away or rejecting). Let’s live a little more gratefully, seeing the awe in each moment and in every breath. Because where gratitude is, craving and wanting is absent.
If we understand the impermanence of life and start to accept what is, we can more easily let go and flow. When we learn to step back, pause, and stop identifying with our thoughts, emotions, concepts, and bodies, there is a place of wholeness within ourselves. There we can find true happiness. There we can find answers and meet our own human potential — to lose the fear and dance this miraculous life (not ignorant of what is). 🤍
