Der Kongress findet vom 16.–20.05.2023 als Präsenz-Kongress statt. Es ist uns wieder gelungen eine Vielzahl erfahrener und renommierter Referentinnen und Referenten aus aller Welt für den 54. TCM Kongress zu gewinnen. An dieser Stelle bedanken wir uns bei unserer Programmkommission und allen Beteiligten für das Engagement und die Anregungen für die Inhalte, die Gestaltun

Welcome to Rothenburg! Our classes take part in four areas of the city:
- Reichsstadthalle: our main location with the exhibition, lunch tent, and 3 seminar rooms: a small one in the main building (Kleiner Saal), Hegereiterhaus and Schäfersaal directly around the corner
- Mehrzweckhalle: two big rooms, MZH 1&3. You’ll also find a little kiosk here with some drinks & snacks. Also, we’ll be opening there tonight!
- Musikhalle (Music hall) close to the old towns market place
- Hotel Eisenhut: our two rooms “Churchill” and “Kästner“ are located in this old town hotel.
All areas are within walking distance, plan about 10 minutes ahead, or 15, if you enjoy the views 🤗

Wir präsentieren den Thementag Westliche Kräuter!
Westliche Kräuter sind eine wertvolle und vor allem nachhaltigere Lösung für alle TCM-Therapeut*innen, denn die Prinzipien der TCM lassen sich natürlich auf alle Pflanzen anwenden.
Unter der Leitung unserer jahrelangen Kräuterexpertin Birte Hinz bieten wir am Donnerstag eine Podiumsdiskussion zu einem großen Thema: wie gehen Kräuter und Medikamente Hand in Hand? Wie können wir Patient*innen, die Medikamente nehmen müssen, über Wechselwirkungen, Synergien und Auschlusskriterien aufklären? Wie können wir mit westlichen Kräutern begleitend unterstützen?
Unsere Thementage sind für eine tief gehende fachliche Auseinandersetzung gedacht, bei denen du andere Menschen aus deinem Fachbereich /Schwerpunkt kennenlernen kannst.

We are incredibly proud to present to you our lecturers from our long-standing partner, the Cheng Du University of TCM (CDUTCM)! We’re even prouder that we have a couple of female lecturers from China. AND: It’s a real highlight to have these classes take place in English this year! This is a huge step and we hope that this makes the classes all the more accessible. First up, we have Lei Lang with a course covering everything around the treatment protocols for allergic rhinitis, beginning with the TCM theory and perspective of this condition and how to differiate and treat appropriate meridians. There’ll also be advice on how to adjust herbal prespriptions for your patients acoording to their different patients - so a full plate to take your treatment of allergic rhinitis to the next level, especially with spring coming up! Ready to dive deep into the layered meanings and function of Sanjiao (that honestly, doesn’t get talked about enough)? Let’s hear from our Heavenly Stems and Earthly Branches expert :

“I think it was in 1975 that I first heard about the Triple Burner channel. Somehow, from then on, I was touched by the ambiguous, mystical qualities of that meridian and kept searching for its deeper meaning. My search led me past TCM, Five Phases, French Acupuncture, Stems and Branches, YiJing and other Chinese Classics. However, I often felt that something fundamental, philosophical, but also practical was missing.

My search and studies have always continued until today.

In my lectures on the Earth Branch Hai and the San Jiao at the TCM Congress Rothenburg, I take interested colleagues to where I am now in my quest, how the Branch Hai and the San Jiao channel shape the mission of Heaven in humans and are important for the human response in health and disease back to the origin of life. We explore how understanding the energetics of points on the San Jiao channel and the Ren Mai, along with the Internal Duct of the San Jiao, can refine and nuance a treatment plan.”

Der TCM Kongress Rothenburg ist der größte Kongress für Chinesische Medizin in der westlichen Welt. Alljährlich kommen über 1200 Teilnehmer/innen aus aller Welt zusammen, um die wichtigsten Referent/inn/en persönlich zu hören, sich in der TCM Community zu vernetzen, politische Entscheidungen in verschiedenen Meetings zu diskutieren und voranzutreiben und nicht zuletzt auch eine gute Zeit zu haben. Das mittelalterliche Ambiente der Stadt Rothenburg und des zauberhaft gelegene Kongresszentrum Wildbad zwischen Stadtmauer und lieblichem Taubertal bieten nicht nur Platz für die mannigfaltigen Kurse, sondern auch Raum zum Entspannen, für anregende Gespräche und zu erholsamem Lustwandeln. Jedes Jahr im Mai verwandelt sich die Stadt Rothenburg durch den TCM Kongress für volle fünf Tage in ein Mekka der TCM. Geradezu legendär ist die Buffetparty am Freitagabend in der Kongresswoche. Begrüßt mit Sekt, anschließend verpflegt mit einem reichhaltigen Buffet, geht es nahtlos über in ausgelassenen Tanz. Selten treffen sich so viele Leute aus aller Herren Länder in derart fröhlicher Stimmung und feiern bis in die Morgenstunden… Werfen Sie einen Blick auf die Fotos und sehen Sie selbst! Der 51.
