Tagesgeschäft- leider!!!
So etwas sollte keine Kind erleiden müssen!!!

I try not to get angry, frustrated, or annoyed. I guess I am really just confused.

Why are parents being told that their kid who is snoring, waking up tired, and has tonsils like this being told they will outgrow it? Why are they being recommended surgery but then put on a wait list that is 1-2 years long?

We know the importance of breathing. We know the importance of early intervention. We know the lifelong consequences of delayed treatment. But the lack of proactive care is equivalent to not knowing.

I am so grateful to the parents of children that trust me to help their child. I am so grateful to the parents that seek out further advice when they have been told it’s no big deal to let theme snore or mouth breathe.

This really is not rocket science- I can explain this to a kid of school and they get it.
If new information comes along that shows I am wrong, I will change. We have old information that I am relying on that is supported by contemporary findings and yet there is no change.

Am I just deluded? Have I gone deep down some rabbit hole and lost perspective? Or am I really that different to so many but doing the right thing? All I know is these kids lives are changing for the better using my skills and knowledge. Skills that keep being refined. Knowledge that keeps being accumulated.

I am unashamedly an upper airway breathing specialist. And I will keep fixing kids like this when other won’t. And I will fix them as fast as I can.

I should not have parents crying in my office with tears of relief and saying that they are just so relieved that someone listened to them. But every week I am at work it happens. Every week.

To those parents seeking help all I can say is I’m here for you and your child.

Schön wäre es, wenn das auch die Kassen und Gesetzgeber kapieren und diese Leistungen sinnvoll finanzieren…
Seit Anfang 2023(!) kämpft der BV HNO dafür und läuft gegen Wände!
Für irrsinnige Dinge scheint aber genug Geld da zu sein. 🤯🤯🤯
