All is not lost, there is always another way.
Stress can lead to increased smoking. But smoking can lead to less oxygen to the brain. And damaging blood vessels in the heart, limiting blood flow to the brain. All can result in limited cognitive functioning. Something that will make life harder in the long run.
You are going to have good days and bad days with our current situation. But try to find one thing to stay consistent with. For example, taking a shower, doing the dishes, keeping a clean bathroom, walking outside or getting to bed at a good time.
Access your Courage: You may be stuck at home. But you can take this time to learn a new language, or an instrument. Something that has been on your mind for sometime now. Why not access your courage and try.
Stand up and stretch. Take three deep breaths in and out> Now one minute of just breathing. This moment in time does need to own you in any way. You still have control over who you are.
