Patent office meets surgical innovation ✨

Recently, we had the pleasure of welcoming five examiners from the German Patent and Trademark Office (DPMA) to our Biocenter.🏢

It was an exciting exchange as we showcased our implant technologies and offered a behind‑the‑scenes look into our cleanroom processes.

We truly appreciate their work behind the scenes and loved giving them a firsthand look at the innovations that drive our mission every day.🙌

It all began in 1896 – 130 years ago, Ludwig Leibinger opened a small watchmaker’s workshop in Mühlheim an der Donau, Germany. His vision? Precision and innovation. Soon, he shifted his focus to surgical instruments – laying the foundation for what we proudly continue today as the KLS Martin Group.

🅿️🚗 Coming soon: Our new parking garage in Mühlheim!

During a spectacular night shift, the new employee bridge over the railroad tracks was hoisted into place and successfully installed. The direct connection from the future parking garage to the company building is now complete! 🙌

Since November 2025, a multi-story parking garage has been under construction in the “Am Lippach” industrial area, set to be completed in fall 2026: initially 286 parking spaces, later up to 392. A key component of our new parking and traffic organization at the site.

✨ Sometimes, surgery means giving a life back.

After years of chronic pain, limited mobility, and reliance on a walker, this patient experienced a significant change.

A highly complex revision surgery corrected a decades-old maxillary malposition – leading to a significant functional improvement for the patient.

The past few days in Copenhagen were truly inspiring. It was a pleasure to connect with dedicated professionals in gynecologic oncology, discuss surgical challenges, and present how our energy devices, reusable instruments, and laser solutions can support your work in the OR.
