🚀 On Friday, May 22, 2026, our first KLS Martin Thoracic Cadaver Course in collaboration with the CWIS took place at the Amsterdam Skills Centre.
Together with thoracic surgeons and surgical teams from different centers, we spent an intensive day focused on all aspects of chest wall injury repair – combining lectures, case discussions, scientific exchange and hands-on cadaver lab training.
The course created a highly interactive environment to discuss current approaches in chest wall stabilization and thoracic trauma care, while also enabling valuable peer-to-peer exchange and practical application in the lab.
🔬 During the course, we were also excited to introduce and demonstrate both of our latest solutions:
• The L1® Rib titanium system including the new Y-plates
• The L1 Rib PEEK system
• Our L1 Sternal fixation portfolio
It was great to see the strong interest and engage in many insightful discussions around modern chest wall reconstruction and rib fixation technologies.
🤝 A special thank you to our outstanding faculty and to the CWIS for their support, expertise, and contribution in making this course such a valuable experience.
