Mary Beth Volker's Vinyasa yoga classes will leave you feeling energize
d, strengthened, relaxed and renewed. Her classes are athletic, humorous, philosophical and uplifting. Vinyasa yoga is a dynamic, challenging practise that focuses on the union between breath and movement, and sequencing poses to open body, mind and heart. She has completed over 500 hours of training under recognised, registered teachers worldwide. She completed a 200 hour Vinyasa teaching training at Yandara Yoga School with Kate Moll, did a 300 hour apprenticeship with Anna Laurita in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, and has attended additional trainings in Germany with Duncan Wong and Kino Macgregor. Recently she travelled to India, where she studied traditional Ashtanga yoga for a month with AJ Kumar, and also took a month of deep back bending and pranayama courses from Vinay Kumar. She also spent two weeks in an ashram practising the slower Sivanada style of yoga, meditation, and pranayama. Sascha Sardana
Sascha has been practicing Yoga for 5 years. Her study of yoga has included Ashtanga and Vinyasa. Last year, she travelled to India for a Yoga Ayurveda retreat. She is happy now to share her love of yoga in her new role as a teaching assistant, giving Asana adjustments and Thai massage. She is an intuitive body worker and enjoys healing and helping people with her hands. As an avid research queen and passionate organiser, she is also in charge of coordinating and running retreats.
