: Call quality and call drop challenges have been resolved for inbound and outbound calls across DHA Europe, reported on Monday, September 22, 2025, at 1800 CET.

MEDDAC Bavaria is experiencing an ongoing issue affecting inbound commercial calls (landline/mobile) to our appointment lines, reported on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at 10:28 CET.

Callers may experience difficulty hearing call agents, low call quality, or dropped calls; however, this issue does NOT impact MHS GENESIS, on-net calling (590-###x to 590-###x), off-net DSN (590-###x to 569-###x), or outbound 99-dialing (commercial).

Bavaria Information Management Division is working with subject matter experts to resolve this issue across all MEDDAC Bavaria sites, and we will provide updates as they become available. We appreciate your patience.

Over April 7–10, MEDDAC Bavaria Soldiers supported the U.S. Air Force 7th Combat Weather Squadron’s first annual field training exercise across the Grafenwoehr Training Area.

Army medics provided medical coverage, range safety, and instruction during key events including live-fire, TCCC and CBRN training, land navigation, and squad maneuvers.

On April 8, three NCOs from MEDDAC Bavaria led the TCCC–All Service Members course, training 33 Airmen from Germany and Italy in lifesaving combat medical skills, enhancing overall medical readiness.

This joint effort strengthened interoperability and built lasting partnerships across services.

🩺 From March 31 to April 4, senior leaders from MEDDAC Bavaria supported 7th ATC/CAT-C as guest instructors during the first-ever Delayed Evacuation Casualty Management (DECM) course.

Over five days, 16 medical personnel Soldiers completed 640 hours of training, covering 81 critical medical tasks across 16 lesson plans. The course combined classroom and hands-on instruction focused on preventing the lethal triad of coagulopathy, acidosis, and hypothermia.

DECM enhances medical readiness by challenging medics to think beyond TCCC and integrate nursing care to improve long-term outcomes and increase survivability in prolonged field care scenarios.

EDIT: This post has been updated to remove a medical training photo not suitable for all audiences. We apologize for any concern this may have caused.
