Efter længere tids overvejelser, har jeg besluttet at lukke startupworks. Vi nåede lige at blive 5 år gammel. Foreningen blev stiftet den 31.10.2015 og vi afleverer vores sidste lokaler den 30.11.2020.

I de sidste fem år har vi haft mere end 100 virksomheder boende hos os og over 200 personer har været igennem vores miljø. På et tidspunkt havde vi lidt over 2300kvm udlejet alene til tech startups.

Jeg synes stadig vores oprindelig vision er rigtig og det vi prøvede at opnå er godt, men det er ikke lykkedes mig at finde de rigtige partnere som kunne drive konceptet videre.

Jeg er glad for de mange mennesker jeg har mødt i de sidste 5 år og de mange ting jeg har lært omkring startups, business og politik. Jeg er også meget taknemmelig for alle mennesker som har bakket op om stedet de sidste fem år, både finansielt og med tid.

Jeg glæder mig til at følge udviklingen af Aalborgs tech startup community som jeg personligt mener kan blive til et rigtig stort aktiv for byen. Jeg håber på sigt at der vil kom en startupworks 2.0 med nogle nye initiativtagere med frisk energi, da jeg stadig mener at der er brug for det.

Med direkte udsigt over Aalborgs byliv og Limfjorden fra vores tagterrasse kan I fejre en ny kundeaftale eller skåle og råbe højt hurra 🥂🇩🇰 Har I brug for lidt ekstra til at sætte gang i festen, klarer vi også det. Vi tilbyder blandet andet tilkøb af vores slush ice maskine, musikanlæg, projektor, stort anretter køkken, gasgrill eller en skræddersyet menu udført af vores kok 👨‍🍳🥙🥘🥗🍜
Priserne starter fra 2.000 kr. og afhænger af festens længde og tilkøb.

Hos StartupWorks har vi et ledigt kontor på 20 kvm med plads til 2-4 personer. Er I en etableret virksomhed eller en startup, så har vi lige de rette faciliteter for jer! Kontoret kan blive jeres for 4500 kr. om måneden plus moms. We think, it is important to acknowledge our residents for the great progress they are making on their entrepreneurial journey. That is why we have chosen to introduce startup of the month, and the winner for february is.... drumroll 🥁....
