🌱 Wrapping Up Root to Rise Series 🌱

As we closed out our final class of this 5-week journey, I’ve been reflecting on what made this series so special. What stands out most is the incredible growth — individually and as a group. There was such openness, commitment, and willingness to try new things, work through challenges, and support one another along the way.

This series truly embodied the spirit of Root to Rise. Week by week, I watched the group deepen their practice, ask questions, share feedback, and grow together. The practice became something we shaped collaboratively — responsive, supportive, and personal.

One of the most meaningful moments for me was our final class. There was so much joy, playfulness, and connection as we moved and supported each other through the practice. It felt like a celebration of everything we had built together — trust, encouragement, strength, and community. A reminder that while yoga is deeply individual, it’s also the support of the group that helps us rise.

Thank you all for your openness, curiosity, and willingness to explore something new. For listening to your bodies, taking small steps, asking questions, and showing up for yourselves and each other. The suggestion of a little hygge time after the final class was the perfect reflection of the community we are creating together.

If there’s one takeaway to carry forward, it’s this:
We grow stronger together.

Teaching this group has helped me grow tremendously as a teacher, learning to craft practices that truly meet students where they are. That connection and collaboration have meant so much to me.

This week, we explored the edge of comfort. Not to push or force, but to listen, to try, and to trust ourselves in the process.

🌿 Wrapping Up The Art of Balance 🌿

As we closed out our final class of this 5-week journey, I’ve been reflecting on what made this series so meaningful. What stands out most is the deep sense of support in the room — a shared willingness to grow together, to try, to modify, and to meet ourselves exactly where we are. There was a beautiful balance between effort and ease, individuality and connection.

One of the most special threads throughout the series was how we leaned into each other — not just figuratively, but physically too. In our Trust & Play week, moving through tree pose together, supporting one another, there was this powerful moment of connection. It reminded us that even when we feel unsteady, we don’t have to find balance alone — we can support and be supported. That sense of trust and closeness carried through every class.

Thank you to each of you for showing up with openness, curiosity, and honesty. For listening to your bodies, asking questions, taking small steps, and allowing yourselves to explore something new. Your energy and presence are what made this series so impactful.

If there’s one takeaway to carry forward, it’s this:
Keep it going.
Take this practice beyond the mat and into your daily life. When challenges arise, remember — you already have the tools within you. Trust yourself.

Teaching this group has brought me so much joy. I’ve loved the collaboration, the playfulness, the curiosity, and the community we’re building together. Moments like sharing music during savasana, moving, learning, and growing side by side — they stay with me.

I’m looking forward to some time to rest, be with family, and practice these lessons off the mat — especially patience, trust, and a little more playfulness along the way.
