Loneliness
More and more people today are dealing with loneliness. And what is disturbing, many of them are also at a young age.
Loneliness is never pleasant, but when you're very young or when you're old, is even harder to take it. These are the time frames in your life when you need friends, when you have more free time to spend with someone, when you don't work, when you need some encouragement or help.
But, generally speaking, is never pleasant and it can affect any age, any gender, anywhere.
Now, if you ask me, a little bit of loneliness is also good, creative, relaxing, a time to be with ourselves and recharge our batteries. But too much is not feeling so good, unless it's our choice and we feel better being lonely than surrounded by people.
When we are lonely - and we don't want to be - it means that we have to make some changes in our lives. Maybe we don't interact enough with people with similar mentalities or hobbies, as we have. Maybe we are in the wrong place and we should think about a solution on how to change it. We always can find groups or places with similar activities or hobbies with ours and we can join them, sometimes for free.
If we feel lonely and we don't feel good at job or at school, we should try to change it. It means is not our place there. Now, this move is not so easy to make, but at least finding a group with similar activities is easy and will guarantee you some friends.
So don't be sad when you feel lonely! Don't allow yourself to fall into sadness, but try to change this status and this mood.
And, most important, DON'T SELL YOUR SOUL FOR A FRIENDSHIP. That is not friendship, it has other names: abuse, codependency, etc.
