PARTNER2-STUDIET VINDER VIGTIGSTE VIDEN DELT 🏆

The Mission of CHIP

CHIP (Centre of Excellence for Health, Immunity and Infections) produces internationally recognised research aimed at people with affected immune systems on how best to improve their health and extend life.

History

For the last two decades, CHIP has focused primarily on sections of the population having immune dysfunction such as people living with HIV. More recently, this has been expanded to incorporate other patient categories such as organ transplant recipients, cancer patients, patients with autoimmune disease and other groups with increased vulnerability to infectious diseases.

In 2014, CHIP was re-named as a Centre of Excellence by the Capital region of Denmark in addition to receiving a 10-year Danish National Research Foundation Centre of Excellence grant for studying Personalized Medicine of Infectious Complications of Immune Deficiency (PERSIMUNE, www.persimune.dk).
