Reiki is a natural healing modality whereby universal energy is channeled through the practitioners hands to the client to balance and enhance health and vitality in the mind and the body. Each Reiki session is a unique experience. Not two sessions are alike. The energy is far more intelligent and powerful than we have the capacity to fathom. It is reassuring to know that the Reiki energy always goes to where it is needed. Reiki speeds up the body's own healing processes. Whether you come because you need relief from pain, worry, anxiety or depression, Reiki naturally treats the root causes of any ailment or symptom whether physical, mental, emotional or spiritual. My work is to facilitate the transmission through my hands. It is an intuitive process where you will feel relaxed and at ease, as the hands move softly around your head, upper body, stomach and back. I create a safe space for you to release and bring forth whatever it is that needs to get looked at. My job is to be a clear channel and focus on the intention we set together from the start. All the client is expected to do is lay back, allow for the energies to come in and enjoy a relaxing hour. Treatments are usually 60 minutes. I use the recommended hand positions from the Usui system of natural healing, which has 4 positions around the head, 4 positions on the upper body, hands, knees and feet, as well as 4 positions on the back. Clients lay down during a session. Clients are fully dressed as the energy goes through clothes, fibers, and materials, even metals! It might be nice for you to take off jewelry and wear loose fitting clothes for your own comfort. Clients usually express that they feel warmth, buzzing, tingling and sometimes different symptoms of release such as laughter, sleep, snoring, yawning. It is perfectly normal to have clients fall asleep as their body enters deep rest. Maternity Reiki:
