Permanent lukket.

Ayurveda rituals of grooming and plant medicine have been a part of my life ever since I was born. Born and brought up in Tanzania by Indian parents, currently living in Denmark, and having lived in other countries, I still fall back on my ancestral world of Ayurveda knowledge and wisdom passed down from my mother and her mother through food, and everyday living. Having studied acupressure for one year in India, the time to open a dedicated head massage clinic, combining my mother's Ayurveda healing recipes and rituals, and my knowledge of pressure points was ripe. Regular head oil massages practiced by Indian women is a rich tradition of family grooming passed down through generations. Different oils are used according to the season which strengthens the hair, and encourages the body's innate healing energy. Champi focuses on the head, face, upper back and arms, which releases all the tension accumulated in the upper body. The brain is the seat of the central nervous system. By gently massaging the pressure points, the whole body is treated, as the nerves, blood and lymph vessels travel from the base of the neck down the spine to the rest of the body. The belief is that when they are balanced, the rest will vibrate in harmony promoting well-being, stress and tension relief.

Traditional Grooming

Ayurveda rituals of grooming and plant medicine have been a part of my life ever since I was born. I still fall back on my ancestral world of Ayurveda knowledge and wisdom passed down from my mother and her mother, through food, and everyday living. The time to open a dedicated head massage clinic, combining my mother's Ayurveda healing recipes and rituals, and my knowledge of pressure points was ripe. What is Champi? Champi is a word from Hindi, meaning head massage. Regular head oil massages practiced by Indian women is a rich tradition of family grooming passed down through generations. Different oils are used according to the season which strengthens the hair and immune system, and encourages the body's innate healing energy.

The brain is the seat of the central nervous system. By gently massaging the marma energy points, the whole body is treated, as the nerves, blood and lymph vessels travel from the base of the neck down the spine to the rest of the body.

Champi head massage focuses on energy points on the head, face, upper back and arms, which releases all built-up toxins and tension, and allows free flow of prana (energy).
