The Collaboration of Young Researchers at Rigshospitalet (FYF) annual Poster and Presentation Competition takes place on the 15th of April 2026 in Auditorium 2, Rigshospitalet-Blegdamsvej.
The program will start at 09:00 and end at approximately 14:30.
All young researchers at Rigshospitalet (Blegdamsvej and Glostrup) are invited to submit and present their work. The winner of the competition will be awarded Young Researcher of the Year and funding of 15.000 DKK in prize money. There will also be a Best Poster-award rated by the audience.
All submitted abstracts will be presented as a 3-minute poster presentation. The poster can be both in landscape and portrait format.
Researchers will be selected based on the poster presentation by a senior assessment committee for final oral presentation.
Abstract requirements and formatting instructions:
• Maximum of 1 abstract per person.
• The submitting person must be first author.
• The abstract can either be finished research or it can be a method/design abstract.
• The abstract must not have been accepted in a journal more than 12 months prior to the date of abstract submission.
• Abstracts may not be longer than 350 words (Abstract title, author information, and information included in tables/images does not count toward this limit).
• Abstracts may include 1 figure or 1 table per abstract.
• Please confine both abstract text and figures/tables to one A4 page with normal margins (3 cm in top and bottom, 2 cm in both sides).
• Abstracts are to be written in English.
• Fixed subheadings: Background & Aim, Methods, Results, Conclusion.
• All co-authors and their affiliation should be listed.

Abstracts must be submitted both as a Word-document and PDF-document

The file name should include the name of the presenter.
