NYT om moms!

Samme dag hvor chokolade og sukker bliver billigere… der bliver yoga dyrere🙄🤯

Vi har i DYOM længe afventet svar på, hvornår vi kan forvente at den varslede moms på yoga vil træde i kraft - og ligeledes har vi afventet svar på, hvad man fra politisk side vil gøre for at kompensere for den merudgift, det i sidste ende vil betyde for vores yogadeltagere.

I dag blev vi lidt klogere!

Skatteforvaltningen offentliggjorde tidligere i dag en række praksisændringer på momsområdet, herunder at der fra den 1. januar 2026 bl.a. lægges moms på en række undervisningsaktiviteter.

Det gælder også yoga.

MEN af pressemeddelelsen fra Skatteforvaltningen fremgår det samtidigt, at regeringen ønsker at indføre et fradrag for motion - herunder yoga - i kommercielt regi. Det betyder, at deltagerne på dine hold vil kunne få fradrag for at deltage, så de kompenseres for den prisstigning momsen naturligt vil medføre.

Foreninger vil fortsat være momsfritaget (og dermed heller ikke omfattet af fradraget).

DYOM er ikke blevet varslet inden pressemeddelelsen, men vi er i forbindelse med offentliggørelsen blevet inviteret til et møde i Skatteministeriet d. 1. september sammen med andre relevante organisationer.

Mere ved vi ikke for nu!

Vi er selvfølgelig fortsat brand ærgerlige over, at der indføres moms på yoga, således at prisstigninger er nødvendige og yogaudbydere får en ny administrativ byrde - men vi bider samtidig mærke i, at der fra politisk side blev lyttet til os og bremset op - og at der nu ser ud til at være vilje til at finde en kompensationsordning.

Vi vil selvfølgelig løbende holde alle vores DYOM medlemmer orienteret om de regler, der kommer til at gælde for moms!

In this module we take a deep dive into the core elements that provide the framework for the experience of the Ashtanga practice - breath, bandha, dhristhi and Asana. Everything that makes it distinct, and a deep, inner practice and facilitate calmness, stability and ease.

This fundamental way to be mindful and move, that incorporates the timeless wisdom and methodology of yoga, into a psychical practice, is what makes the practice so unique and intense.

Content:
- When facing a difficult section proper breathing techniques can help calm your nervous system, empowering you to meet challenges with confidence and calm, rather than tension. Without the cornerstone of proper breathing, what should be a graceful journey, can become a source of stress—physically, mentally, and emotionally.

- The key to a graceful practice with ease and fluidity, lies in your breath. Learn techniques to harmonize your breath with movement, allowing for a more seamless flow.

- Looking for smooth transitions between poses? By focusing on your breath, you can cultivate a sense of economy and efficiency, creating a more dynamic practice.

- To keep your mind anchored in the present moment, breath awareness is essential. Discover how intentional breathing can deepen your connection to your body and mind and transform your practice into a moving meditation.

The coming weekend, January 18, we launch the Ashtanga Yoga Primary Series in-depth course.

The 30 hour course is designed to provide you with a clear direction and a deeper understanding of each pose, along with the foundational principles that support the entire Ashtanga practice.

The course consists of 10 individual modules following the primary series sequence of poses. You can take them in succession, or choose those which appeal to you.

Course include:
- In-depth technical, structural and methodological instruction to the poses.
- The correct vinyasa count, breathing technique, and walk through the corresponding movements in each asana.
- How to modify and adapt, in relation to different body types and conditions, like injury.
- Chanting of Sanskrit names and counting.
- Relevant yoga philosophy as well as questions and answers.

Traditionel Astanga Yoga, one breath at a time

At Astanga Yoga Studio we practice and teach Astanga vinyasa yoga in traditional weekdays mysore classes and weekly led classes.

The Astanga method and system was codified by the late Sri T.Krishnamacharya and firstly popularised by the late K. Pattabhi Jois and now currently taught by his grandson R. Sharath Jois at the Sri. K Pattabhi Jois Ashtanga Yoga Institute (KPJAYI), in Mysore, India,

Ashtanga means eight limbs or branches. The third limp; Asana (the yoga posture), is the foundation that purifies and makes the body steady and balanced, creating the proper groundwork for the inner aspects to flourish.

Vinyasa means to synchronize movements with breath. The breath is indeed the central aspect of the practice, not just providing an effective anchor for the mind but creating an inner heat that supports the detoxification of inner organs, joints and tissues.
