IT’S SPRING AND YOU KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS - TIME FOR A RÖRT FLEA MARKET

We’re hosting a flea market yet again. Time to clear out the closet and pass on the items gathering dust & maaaybe bring home some new cute summer outfits. Or maybe you don’t care about clothes but could have a snack and a Sunday chat?

We will turn our courtyard into a cozy marketplace filled with preloved treasures, books, and plants, but also into a café with delicious food and coffee (menu TBA).

Sign up on our website 70 kr for members / 140 kr for non-members. You will have space on a table, and space for a clothes rack (you will have to bring the rack yourself).

Another piece of the Überört puzzle

We’re slowly revealing the people who will help shape this year’s festival, and today we’re sharing the third round of teachers, musicians and facilitators joining us in the Swedish forest.

This time, meet:

Some of them will make you move, some will make you listen, some will guide us into the body, into play, into quietness, into rhythm, into something you maaaaybe didn’t know you needed.

Überört is 1st - 5th July: five days of practice, nature, sauna, lake swims, food, music, dance, conversations, rest and community.

Come be part of it. You don’t need to know anyone to join - maybe you’re curious but unsure if you’ll fit in? Over the years, many have joined not knowing anyone, and left with a community around them.

This Sunday, join Finja for Familieyoga (4–6 years) from 10:00 - 11:00. There will be playful movement, breathing, massage and relaxation. A sweet way to move, connect and land together. If you’re a member, the class is included in your membership.

And! On 10th May, and are hosting Familie Sauna from 14:00 - 15:00 with stories, scents, sensory play, ice cubes and a dip in the cold tub.

Teaching for both is in Danish, but everyone is welcome (we all speak body)

On May 8th, we’re welcoming Rört friend .glode for a very special evening.

This is not quite a concert in the usual sense, but more of a shared musical gathering. Part concert, part ritual, with live music, shared singing, listening, presence and space to simply be with what unfolds. Sitting, standing, breathing, maybe even dancing.

Ceremonial cacao will be shared during the evening, opening a space for connection and attentiveness, with no prior experience or particular beliefs needed.

Some of you may already know Simon from his concerts at Uberört. We’re very happy to welcome him back to Denmark after long travels and to host this evening together.

How do we stay true to ourselves and still stay in connection? How do we notice when something is a yes, a no, a maybe or a not right now?

This workshop with .bangsbo is a space to explore exactly that. Through consent practices, play, and relational exercises, we’ll practice listening more closely, communicating more clearly and making space for more nuance in how we meet each other.

FINALLY! You asked for it, and now it's back on the schedule: Parkour.
It has been really difficult to find great teachers for Parkour, especially with the fantastic ones that we had earlier and who are too busy these days — but technological progress solved this problem, too.

Last week, our teachers gathered for a workshop with Laura Colstrup, Rört member, anthropologist and someone living in a bigger body, who shared reflections, lived experience, and knowledge on diversity and inclusion.

We spoke about how to create classes and environments that more actively take non-slim bodies into account, while also opening up a broader conversation about inclusion at Rört: where invisible barriers exist, which assumptions we make about bodies that don’t fit the “norm”, and where we still need to keep learning and doing better, both as a movement space and as a community.

This is ongoing work for us. Work we want to approach with openness, humility, and responsibility, while continuing to listen, reflect, adjust and grow into a space that feels more inclusive for many kinds of bodies and people.
