25/10/2024

Yes, it is and like every Friday and remember that No, the comfort zone is not boring. No, we don't need to be constantly pushed out of it and told that there is no development in the comfort zone.

The comfort zone is the state where abilities and challenges fit together, and if we don't have the comfort zone to recharge, when we sometimes move out where we aren’t comfortable, then it's important to know that we have our own charging station, NAMELY THE COMFORT ZONE

The comfort zone has got a completely false reputation, that it is a negative place to be, a dull state of habits, passivity and laziness, without development in any way, it’s a lie, the comfort zone is very important for the sustainable long-term mental and personal development!

When we are under pressure, fall back on what already know and feel relief when it's over, NOT JOY

If we really want development, learning and the ability to handle greater complexity, then it's not being pushed out of the comfort zone all the time, it has to come from knowing we have our comfort zone to recharge and gather courage as we learn the new and challenging stuff.

We need to make it safe to experiment, so we can try new things with less risk of catastrophic mistakes or loss of face. It requires a safe environment and support from other people and knowing that someone has my back if things go wrong, and there is support if something goes wrong.

Becoming world class in whatever we are passionate about, whether its Rugby, Rowing, Football, Boxing or chess for that matter, requires persistence, patience and a continuous return to the basics.

We live in a world where everything moves fast, and where many are looking for the quick fix, it is important to remember that true world class is not achieved without a lot of repetition and hard work.

There are no shortcuts to the top.

If you don't have a safe zone (our comfort zone), there is no room for challenges that go beyond what we already know we can do, and then if we are pushed to the max we fumble around blindly.

all of us who have electric cars especially in the beginning when you have to go on a long trip and don't quite know where, how and when we can charge,.. it's exactly the same mechanisme with human psychology, we ALL need "a dry stepping stone in the wet grass" .

And this mindset is not only applicable in the world of sports, but also in business and in the development of successful teams. Creating a winning team and a winning culture requires exactly the same persistence and understanding that success is the result of continuous improvement – day by day, step by step, and all the time starting from the comfort zone, so that we have the courage and energy to take life's challenges, and even the biggest challenges become the comfort zone when we have practiced long enough.

Richard Pascale once said, "It’s easier to act your way into a new way of thinking than to think yourself into a new way of acting."

ACT is a also nice acronym too. Action-Changes-Things

It’s so easy to get caught up in what others are doing. Social media is full of success stories, and sometimes it feels like you need to measure up.

Here’s something worth remembering: The most inspiring leaders or people don’t spend time comparing. They’re focused on being true to themselves.

Real leadership comes from embracing your own style and strengths, not trying to mirror someone else

When you start acting or leading from a place of authenticity, that’s when you unlock your full potential.

On this Long note friends have an amazing weekend ♥️🍷🍷

20/09/2024

Yes its is and like every Friday and remember that a High Performance Mindset is “The potential and capacity to perform on a high level on a continuous basis, also in the real long run, and it depends largely on good health and well-being.”

This balance is at the heart of developing and sustaining high performing individuals, teams and, organisations.

“Performance” basically refers to the act of beginning and carrying through to completion.
And “high peformance” is about making things better or becoming better.
Other words for “performance” include achievement, fullfilment, presentation, and conduct.

The point of departure is always that everybody has unique qualities and untapped potential to unlock and contribute throughout life.
“High performance” leadership and management is about exploiting the potential, and developing and maintaining the capacity, to perform on a high level on a contiuous basis, and for an extended period of time.

In contrast, “peak performance” is about the potential and capacity to perform on the highest level for a short period of time to meet an immediate, high intensity challenge – such as an important presentation, interview, negotiation, or sports competition.

Delivering peak performances for an extended period of time is not humanly possibly.
And trying to do so will, sooner or later, have a negative impact on your mental and physical health, and social life.

In other words, doing your best on a continuous basis – and making the most of your potential and life – is not about performing to your maximum capacity all day, every day.

Rather, it is about performing at your optimum or “best possible” level, while taking care of your health and well-being, and dealing with life’s challenges.

Today WAY too many people suffer from chronic stress, anxiety, depression, or burnout – not least because we work hard and long to succeed to the detriment of our health, well-being, and relationships.

The human and financial costs of doing so are high.

According to the World Health Organization, unipolar depressive disorders were ranked as the third leading cause of the global burden of disease in 2004/25 and will move into the first place by 2030.

Definition of mental health: A state of well-being.

WHO defines mental health as “a state of well-being in which every individual realizes his or her own potential, can cope with the normal stresses of life, can work productively and fruitfully, and is able to make a contribution to her or his community.”

In other words, “health” is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being, and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity.

“Remember that the world we have created is the result of our thinking”, and all though, life is a work in progress,
IT IS NEVER too late to change the way we think, feel, and act.
So friends have great weekend and remember, to change your life, you need start thinking and acting differently

Yes its 🦋 and like every friday and remember that in a world of constant distractions and endless to-do lists, the art of a Sahara and narrow focus has become a rare gem, yet it's the key to achieving greatness.

So dive into the importance of having a sharp and narrow focus and do just one thing at a time, and the most important things first.

Just imagine if you try to catch 3 chickens at the same time, you wont succeed until you do it one chicken at the time 🤷‍♂️

Life can feel like a never-ending juggling act, with countless tasks vying for your attention.

Remember, not all tasks are equally important.
Prioritization must be the compass that guides your journey.

Focus on the most important things first; they are the stepping stones to your dreams.

There is a lot of magic of focusing on one thing at a time.,..
Imagine a magnifying glass concentrating the sun's rays into a single point,.. IT GETS REALLY HOT

When you give your undivided attention to ONE task, you unlock your full potential.
It's not about doing everything, it's about doing one thing exceptionally well, and then do the next,…

The Myth of Multitasking, it may seem like a badge of honor, but it's a productivity myth.
It dilutes your focus and reduces the quality of your work.
Instead, embrace the beauty of single-tasking.

So dive deep into each task with your full attention, and watch your efficiency and creativity soar.

To have a really sharp and narrow focus you need both patience and perseverance.
as you know Rome wasn't built in a day, and neither are your goals.
Stay committed, keep learning, and keep working towards your vision.
It's the small, consistent efforts that lead to monumental achievements.

Remember, you are the designer of your life, and your time is your canvas.

By focusing on one thing at a time and tackling the most important tasks first, you're not just designing a masterpiece, you're shaping your destiny.
Every stroke counts, and every choice matters.

So, dare to be different, and embrace the power of focus. prioritize with purpose.
cultivate patience and perseverance.
Your masterpiece is there just waiting to be created—
“one stroke at a time”

Friends on that note FRIENDS have an amazing weekend, and start creating even greater results by doing JUST one task at the time♥️⚡️

16/08/2024

09/08/2024

Yes its and like every friday and remember that if you want to change your life, we have a tendency to overestimate what we can achieve with a big effort over a short period of time, and underestimate what we can achieve with a small effort over a longer time.

So start by changing and creating small habits that every day supports where you want to go and who you want to be.

And do that by, every evening before you go to sleep spend 5 -10 minutes thinking about what went really well today and what will I do differently tomorrow and based on that reflection, decide how you will start the next morning, because when you win the morning, you will win the day, and your journey is on the right track. 🎉

And when it comes to changing or creating new habits, consistency is way more important than perfection.

And for your own personal thrive and the people we care abouts thrive, we have a tendency, as a sign of appreciation or love,… yes, to give to others, what we need and long for ourselves, but it is not certain that that the people we love and care about, have the same needs and longings as we do, so over the next couple of days a good question to ask the important people in your life, could be “darling how can I in the best way possible show you that I love/appreciate you?”, “when do you feel most loved/appreciated by me?” “what do you want me to do more of,.. and maybe less of ?”

And while you are at IT also give this a thought,….. what will you answer if they ask you the same question?? (Be aware it is NOT an easy question to answer)

And in the search for answers remember that the past is the past, nothing can change it, we can learn from IT, but WE CAN NOT CHANGE IT.

And what and didn’t work for you in the past is often irrelevant to the future, so let go of the things that didn’t work for you,.. and REALLY embrace the things that did work for you and that you were proud of, because no matter what, we can still have and create the future we want, in general, “the best thing about the past is, that it is over”

REMEMBER THAT YOU ARE A MIRACLE, Scientists say the odds of you being born are at least 1 in 400 trillion. Maybe even 1 in 400 quadrillion. That is incredibly unlikely to the point of impossible.

SO DO NOT WASTE THE MIRACALE THAT YOU ARE?

Start to change small habits already TODAY, focus on the future, lean on the successes of the past, and create FUTURE YOU WANT where you will be proud of yourself.

Friends on this long note have an amazing weekend, and as a perspective, we only have this one life and we have an obligation to make the most of it, not only for ourselves but also for the people we love and care about, and please send a thought and lots of love to a great Rugby player and even greater friend Fleming Mathiassen that just died after a long fight with cancer.

Cheers my friend thanks for the love and the memories Rest In Peace

Yes its 🦋and like every friday 🎯🎼
and remember that everybody carries a spark within them - for some a burning desire to achieve their own greatness.

In that sense, we are all explorers, relentlessly seeking out our highest potential.

Reaching these high goals is a delicate dance between performance and thrive, between ambition and contentment, between discipline and flexibility.

So, how can we navigate this complex journey, and strike the perfect balance to realize your dreams?

Let's start with discipline, a crucial ingredient in the recipe for success. Discipline means making a commitment and sticking to it, no matter what, “if you know your why, you can stand ANY how and what”

Dreaming of success is easy, but without action, discipline and consistency, IT IS ONLY a DREAM

You WILL encounter obstacles or disappointments, here discipline and the necessary habits to support the discipline is key to keep you going.

Habits, when well chosen and applied, is a really important powerful catalyst for change.

It's human nature to desire instant success, but the road to high performance is often paved with patience and perseverance,
AND
The secret lies in starting small.

Create a small habit that's manageable and aligned with your goals, be it waking up early, reading, or regular exercise.

Gradually, the ripple effect of these small changes will lead to transformative results.

Performance is key, but it must be balanced with personal well-being. Prioritize your mental, emotional, and physical health just as you would a work deadline.

Exercise, good food, quality sleep, mindfulness, meditation, presence will enhance both your performance and your thrive.

Remember, a high-performing engine can only run on high-quality fuel.

Managing expectations is another critical component of this balancing act.

A good way to manage expectations both your own and from the people around you, is a daily reflection on what went really well today, and what shall I do differently tomorrow to succeed. “we dont se the world as it is, we see the world as we are”

Its always a good idea to find a mentor, to help you get over or mitigate the hurdles that will occur, or simply to challenge your thoughts because “we don’t se the world as it is, we see the world as we are”

Lastly, remember to celebrate even your smallest victories, these are the stepping stones that make up your path to success, and will create the feeling of YES I can do this, and build confidence and momentum.

Reaching high goals isn't a straight or easy path.

It’s a dance that requires balancing between performance and thriving, discipline and flexibility, expectations and reality.

The good news is, you are the choreographer of this dance.

With the right habits, mindset, and support, there's no limit to the heights you can reach.

So, rise up and reach out for your goals and know,
“the only true failure lies in never trying at all”

Friends on that note have an amazing weekend cheers🥃🎼

Yes its 🦋 and like every friday 🎉and remember if you want to turn potential into performance and thrive, in both your personal and professional lives.🎯

A good starting point to unlock your full potential, is by deeply understanding yourself.
Reflect regulary on your values, strengths, and passions, what makes you truly come alive?
Recognize your unique talents and identify areas for growth.

This self-awareness will serve as a compass guiding you towards your purpose.
And when you set goals, BE BOLD
Once you've discovered your true self, set audacious goals that align with your aspirations.

Dream big, but ensure your goals are specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, time-bound, energized and re- evalueate regulary (SMARTER).
Break them down into smaller milestones, to create a roadmap to track your progress,… why?

Because bold goals fuel motivation and propel you towards exceptional performance, and the roadmap show the way

And to support the the above cultivate a growth mindset by embracing challenges, view failures as stepping stones, and learn from setbacks.
Adopt a mindset of continuous learning, seeking feedback, and embracing new opportunities.

Remember, all experiences, positive or negative, contributes to your growth and enhances your performance and thriving capabilities.

And as in all succesfull change, consistency is key.

Design daily routines that nurtures your physical, mental, and emotional well-being, and supports where you want to GO.

Prioritize activities like exercise, mindfulness, reading, and skill development.

Create habits that empower you and help you stay focused, motivated, and energized throughout your journey.

Also know that, NO ONE succeeds alone. Surround yourself with mentors, coaches, friends and a supportive network.

Seek guidance from those who have walked the path before you, and leverage their wisdom to accelerate your own growth.
Also if possible, collaborate with like-minded individuals, share knowledge, and engage in meaningful partnerships.

Together with others you can achieve far more than you ever will alone.

And to build the nessesary resilience to strengthen both performance and thrive, embrace adversity as an opportunity to learn, grow, and adapt.

Develop your emotional intelligence, practice self-care, and cultivate a positive mindset, because resilience is not about never falling; it's about rising stronger every time life tries to knock you down.

Then on a regular basis take take time to reflect on your progress, lessons learned, and areas for improvement.
Use this reflection to adjust your course, set new goals, and continually raise the bar of both your performance and thrive, and celebrate every milestone reached.

SO TO BOTH PERFORM AND THRIVE, remember that, it's not just about the destination; it's about the growth, joy, and impact you experience along the way, on this longnote have an amazing weekend
Cheers 🎉🥂

Tanker fra Klosterhaven;

Livets værdi;

Yes, its 🦋 and like every Friday 🎉and remember if you as a manager, coach or individual want to cultivate a balanced life where performance and thriving coexist harmoniously, embracing accountability is essential, both as individuals and as a team.

This isn't about assigning blame, but about fostering a mindset that nurtures growth and trust. Here are three practices to enhance accountability with presence, courage, patience, and managed expectations.

Cultivate Forward-Thinking

When assigning tasks, take the time to visualize the journey ahead.
Anticipate potential challenges and discuss these openly with your team members.

This thoughtful approach ensures that everyone is prepared for obstacles, thereby increasing their chances of success.

Communicating clear expectations and potential hurdles fosters a collaborative atmosphere where team members feel supported and understood.
This presence in planning not only sets the stage for success but also builds a foundation of trust.

Embody Commitment (be a role model for the culture you want to create)

Lead by example through your commitments. Demonstrate courage by consistently meeting deadlines and fulfilling your promises.

This behaviour sets a powerful precedent, showing your team and your that accountability is a shared value.
When you commit to something, follow through diligently.

This reliability prevents disengagement and instills a culture of trust and mutual respect. Your steadfast presence reassures your team that they can depend on you, reinforcing a collective commitment to shared goals.

Focus on Solutions

When mistakes occur, (and they will) adopt a patient and solution-oriented mindset. Instead of assigning blame, encourage a learning and growth perspective. Foster a team-oriented approach to problem-solving where every member is involved in finding solutions.

This approach nurtures psychological safety, allowing team members to take risks and innovate without fear of retribution.

Embrace failures as opportunities for development and encourage a culture of continuous improvement. This way, even setbacks become stepping stones to greater achievements.

By integrating these habits—thinking ahead, embodying commitment, and focusing on solutions—you can create an environment where accountability thrives with presence, courage, patience, and managed expectations.

This approach not only enhances individual and team performance but also ensures a harmonious and resilient path to success, for both the individual and the team.

On this long note friends have and amazing weekend 🎉🥂

05/07/2024

Yes it is 🦋 and like every friday and remember, The fine art of balancing performance and thriving is a delicate dance that requires a combination of focus, presence, and consistent habits.

In our fast-paced world, it's easy to get caught up in the pursuit of success, often neglecting our well-being and personal growth.

However, being present in all situations and cultivating small habits will greatly support us on our journey towards both achievement and fulfillment.

One of the key elements in achieving balance is the ability to be fully present in the moment.

It's all too common for individuals to be physically present but mentally absent, lost in thoughts about the past or worries about the future.

However, true presence allows us to fully engage with our current tasks, relationships, and experiences.

By embracing the present moment, we tap into a state of flow, where our performance becomes effortless and our focus sharpens.

When we are present, we become more attuned to the needs of our bodies and minds.

We can listen to our intuition and recognize when we need to take breaks, recharge, or redirect our efforts.

This self-awareness enables us to make better decisions about where to invest our time and energy, ultimately leading to improved performance and overall well-being.

In addition to presence, cultivating small habits plays a vital role in supporting our journey towards balance.

Our habits shape our daily lives and have a profound impact on our long-term outcomes.

By intentionally creating small habits that align with our goals and values, we establish a solid foundation for success.

These habits can be as simple as starting the day with a few minutes of mindfulness or journaling, prioritizing regular exercise and healthy eating, or setting aside dedicated time for learning and personal growth.

While these actions may seem inconsequential on their own, their cumulative effect over time is powerful.

They provide stability, structure, and a sense of progress, ensuring that we stay on track and make steady progress towards our aspirations.

Moreover, small habits help us navigate the inevitable ups and downs that come with any journey.

They serve as anchors that ground us during challenging times and provide a sense of stability when everything else seems uncertain.

By relying on these habits, we cultivate resilience, discipline, and consistency—essential qualities for achieving sustainable success and thriving in the long run.

In conclusion, when it comes to balancing performance and thriving, being present in all situations and creating small habits are invaluable strategies.

Being fully present allows us to harness the power of the present moment, optimize our performance, and make intentional choices that support our well-being.

Meanwhile, small habits provide the structure, stability, and resilience needed to sustain our progress and navigate the challenges that arise along the way.

By embracing these practices, we can cultivate a balanced and fulfilling journey towards both success and personal growth.

On that very LOONG note, friends take care and have an amazing weekend😘
