A question I am often asked is:
“Do you teach spiritual yoga?”
This always makes me pause in wonder—because yoga is spiritual.
It is not a religion. Those who say yoga is not spiritual have misunderstood it entirely.
While in some cultures yoga is woven into religious rituals, at its essence it is not a religious practice. Rather, it is a profound, universal path of awareness.
If you have ever been blessed to practice with a teacher whose guidance overflows with wisdom, insight, and love beyond measure—you know.
You receive, in an instant, a deep and undeniable truth: God is within you—as you, for you.
Through practices such as prayer, yoga breathing (prāṇāyāma), āsana (postures), and a wholesome, mindful way of living, you begin to experience Yoga—the living union of inner and outer consciousness.
So, do I teach spiritual yoga?
Yes. Absolutely. That is all I do.
It is my sādhānā—my sacred life’s work.
