"Letting go of certainty can feel like not caring about the outcome. The truth however is that it’s actually losing ego weight.
The ego doesn’t just want to be right. It wants to be safe.
Certainty becomes a shelter that the ego hides inside because uncertainty exposes how small and fragile we actually are. Certainty protects us from that feeling. But the ego often misuses it as a protection from necessary discomfort."
