𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗼𝗻𝗯𝗼𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗿𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝗲𝘅𝘁𝗿𝗮 𝗳𝗹𝗲𝘅𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 ⚓

At ESVAGT All new employees go through a structured onboarding program, including an FRB course as a key part of their start-up.

Yesterday, weather conditions challenged the plan, as ice in the harbour basin made the scheduled training impossible. This could have delayed onboarding and left vessels short of crew. 🌨️

Thanks to quick decision-making from ESVAGT and strong cross-functional collaboration, a solution was found. Allan Thybo stepped in at short notice with his experience as at trained FRB and he, the nine new employees, the Mærsk instructors and all the equipment were brought onboard ESVAGT CORNELIA, and they sailed out, where conditions allowed training to continue. At 23:30 PM ESVAGT CORNELIA returned safely to harbour.

A strong example of adaptability, teamwork and a shared commitment to getting new colleagues safely and efficiently updated.

You will be employed as 1. Officer on a group 1, MPSV or SOV vessel.

𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗙𝗢𝗟𝗟𝗢𝗪𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗜𝗦 𝗥𝗘𝗤𝗨𝗜𝗥𝗘𝗗:
• Certificate of Competency as Mate on Merchant Ships
DP unlimited
• Valid health certificate for seafarers and passport
GMDSS (GOC) certificate
• Certificate of Medical Care on board ships equipped with ship’s medicine chest A
• Basic safety, Firefighting for ship officers and Firefighting in ships
Capability of communicating both writing and speaking in English and Danish

Early Saturday morning, last week, ESVAGT SERVER departed Esbjerg to hook up and tow a small Tanker Vessel.

ESVAGT SERVER established tow Saturday afternoon and completed safe delivery of the Tanker to Esbjerg port.

Arriving Esbjerg two tugs assisted as back-stop and push tug to get the Tanker safely moored.

Thanks to the crew for a successfully operation.

𝐄𝐒𝐕𝐀𝐆𝐓 𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐍𝐢𝐞𝐥𝐬 𝐁𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐤!

Today, we had the pleasure of hosting around 40 shipping students from Niels Brock Business College at our headquarters in Esbjerg. They were introduced to ESVAGT’s role as a dedicated provider of safety and support at sea and learned how we lead the way in offshore wind solutions and maritime operations.

The visit included an introduction to our warehouse and workshop, giving students a glimpse of the craftsmanship and dedication behind our fleet and services. We also shared insights into the role of a commercial employee – a key position that connects global trade and supports our customers with flexibility and quality.

This event is part of an ongoing collaboration with Niels Brock that we’ve proudly continued for four years in a row, helping students gain real-world knowledge and inspiration for their future careers.
