𝗙𝗼𝗼𝘀𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗻𝗯𝗼𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗘𝗦𝗩𝗔𝗚𝗧 𝗦𝗖𝗛𝗘𝗟𝗗𝗘

Life at sea is about more than operations – it is about the people on board, the sense of community, and creating moments together.

On ESVAGT SCHELDE, colleagues from ESVAGT and Vestas came together for a foosball tournament that filled the day room with laughter, energy, and good company. A total of 29 matches were played, bringing everyone together across departments and roles, leading up to the semifinals between the top teams.
But beyond the results, the real value was what these evenings created: stronger connections, shared experiences, and a reminder that we are one team on board.

Events like this highlight that teamwork is not only about how we work together professionally, but also how we build a positive and supportive atmosphere in our daily life at sea.

A big thank you to everyone who took part – together, you all contributed to making this something truly valuable for the vessel as a whole.

Fredag den 20. april 2026 dimitterede Mads Damgaard og Kasper Mejlhede som skibsførere fra SIMAC i Svendborg. Begge har opnået deres sejltid i ESVAGT og gennemført den fleksible skibsføreruddannelse.

De fortsætter nu deres karriere i rederiet som styrmænd – Mads ombord på ESVAGT AURORA og Kasper på ESVAGT CORONA.

Ved dimissionen holdt Tina Halkjær Nielsen fra ESVAGT tale og overrakte eksamensgave til de to nyuddannede skibsførere.

Vi ønsker dem begge stort tillykke og god vind fremover.

𝗔 𝗟𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝘁 𝗦𝗲𝗮 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗘𝗦𝗩𝗔𝗚𝗧

During a recent voyage, the captain of the training ship Georg Stage contacted ESVAGT to explore the possibility of connecting with one of our vessels operating in the same area. The objective was to give the cadets a realistic impression of what life at sea may look like after completing their education.

At the time, ESVAGT FARADAY and ESVAGT INNOVATOR were both engaged in offshore operations. Nevertheless, Georg Stage set course towards the vessels to gain an insight into their work.

The visit developed into a valuable exchange. ESVAGT FARADAY launched an STB7, allowing two crew members, Maciej and Kristoffer, to come on board Georg Stage. Here, they met around 60 cadets and shared insights from everyday life at sea, the vessels’ operational tasks, and the career opportunities available within ESVAGT.

For the future ship assistants, the meeting provided a concrete introduction to working life in a professional offshore company, where safety, professionalism and teamwork are integral to daily operations.

At ESVAGT, we value engaging with the next generation of seafarers and offering a transparent view of both the responsibilities and opportunities that come with a career at sea. The visit may well have been a first step towards a future with ESVAGT.
