Our Story

Eddy Winding is a level 4+ LMT, Licensed Sports Massage Therapist and Certified Sports Injury Therapist whose practice has become a standard in Copenhagen and Frederiksberg for the past years with Zenzes Wellness by Winding®.

Eddy provides an unique added value and experience to his treatments with his additional education and work experience in the Fitness Industry. Among others, Eddy was certified as an Okinawan Goju-Ryu Karate Instructor and ran his school of Traditional Martial Arts “Dojo” in California, teaching both adults and children. Having been involved in traditional karate for over 20 years, Karate has given him an ample knowledge about muscle tissues, nerve impulses and energy transference, and fitness rehabilitation treatments which he uses on a daily basis by using good positioning, very intense grips and power, and a subtle energy transference between the client and himself, elevating the treatment to a very personal experience. Eddy has also worked as a physical education teacher in Elementary School in the United States, and has collaborated with different fitness instructors to achieve greater results when treating clients with stress, depression, or anxiety disorders.

Besides having studied and worked with different methods of body treatments and techniques, such as Shiatsu, Naprapat, Hawaiian, Cross Fiber, Tom Meyers, ROLF, Acupressure and Deep Tissue, Eddy holds a University Degree in the United States as a Computer Scientist, and worked in the IT industry for a very long period of time. It was then when a long-waited change in career paths, and following his “call”, developed him to dedicate his life into providing and working with people to help reach their personal needs.

After an extensive travelling around the world, and among homes, between Spain, United States, and Denmark, Eddy established his home in a small town north of Copenhagen by the sea, and can be found during the day at his Zenzes® Wellness Center on Danasvej 4, 1910 Frederiksberg. Otherwise, he is hard to catch while exploring the forests of Sweden or the Fjords of Norway on his bike, blending himself into his native essence: Mother Nature.
