Women can now freeze their eggs and have them stored until they turn 46 ❤

Before, the rule was that women could only store their unfertilized eggs for 5 years. While at the same time no limit was set for men's s***m storage. But now the women are allowed to have their eggs frozen, until the day when we as a clinic are no longer allowed to help with treatment. That is, until you turn 46.

It may be the right solution for those women who are not quite ready to have a child yet. Maybe you haven't found the right person to share your life with. Or is somewhere in your life where it just doesn't fit right now. There are many reasons.

But regardless, we can help here at the clinic. If you want to know more about social freezing (as it is called when you freeze eggs as part of a fertility preservation plan) then you can contact us and hear more about your options.

This week Denmark is celebrating that we will have a new king in the country ❤

This means that it might be a bit difficult to get to the clinic by car.

The metro and trains are running normally. Then park the car either at a train station or subway and take the train the rest of the way. For those of you coming from the airport, you can easily take the metro to Kongens Nytorv and go to the clinic from there.

It's Christmas again and for most people this means quality time spend with family and children ❤

But this time of year can be particularly challenging for those undergoing fertility treatment who still haven't had their greatest wish fulfilled.

Our Fertility Therapist has some advice on how you can take good care of yourself during this time:

Remember that the Christmas month can be particularly energy-demanding, and that it is perfectly okay to cancel some of the events if it feels too overwhelming.

Plan any your time and your arrangements, as it can give a feeling of being in control.

If you participate in events and don't feel like sharing your situation with everyone, you can prepare some sentences that you can answer if you are asked. It is you who decides what you want to share and it can be stress reducing and feel more secure knowing that you have prepared some answers in advance.

Treat yourself and pay attention to what you can do that makes you happy and gives you good energy.

Take good care of yourself and remember to get your sleep

Light a candle or hang something nice on the Christmas tree that symbolizes your hope or any losses you have experienced.

Remember it's okay not to be okay! Be kind to yourself and allow yourself to be sad when the emotions come up. Talk to yourself like you would talk to your best friend.
