The theme of this year’s World Diabetes Day (14 November), “Breaking Barriers, Bridging Gaps,” underscores the WHO’s commitment to reducing the risk of diabetes and ensuring equitable, affordable, and high-quality care for everyone living with the condition.

In the spirit of this theme, we’re excited to share a short video about DUKADA’s journey.

Since 2012, we’ve worked to support people with diabetes, launching DUKADA Trio in 2015 as a timer for insulin pens, designed to simplify daily routines.

Today, we’re focused on DUKADA Sense, a Smart Cap offered to pharma companies and pen producers, empowering users to track and manage their doses accurately and seamlessly. This solution advances eHealth for injection pen users around the world and beyond diabetes.

We’ve Updated Our Website! We’re pleased to share that our website (www.dukada.com) 🌐has been updated with the latest information on DUKADA Sense, our add-on for injection pens. It helps track doses and supports patients, pharma/biotech companies, and clinical trials.

Diabetes and new technology - DUKADA at PDA Europe 22 - 23 October 2019 in Gothenburg, Sweden.

DUKADA with its CEO Jakob Dahl Thomsen met with pharmaceutical companies and device manufacturers from all parts of the world and presented his company’s advanced IoT-solution for pen injection devices.

Did you know that the DUKADA Trio divisible cap protects your insulin from sun light if you are taking insulin in the sun ?

In general insulin pen caps protect the insulin from light. The special design of DUKADA Trio allows the main part of the cap to stay on your insulin pen, even while injecting so it also keeps your insulin protected against light and sun when you are taking insulin :)
