We are happy to announce that a new education is going to take place at the Danish Equine Academy : Education to become a Canine Physiotherapist 🐩 :
Program Overview
This comprehensive and advanced education program in Canine Physiotherapy prepares students to assess, treat, and prevent physical dysfunction in dogs through evidence-based and hands-on practice. The curriculum provides an in-depth understanding of canine anatomy, physiology, behavior, and manual therapy techniques, with a strong emphasis on both therapeutic and preventative physiotherapy.
Graduates will be equipped to handle post-injury rehabilitation, chronic pain management, and long-term wellness care. The program also includes canine massage therapy and practical strategies to integrate behaviorally informed, ethical handling using both positive and negative reinforcement appropriately in therapeutic contexts.
Structure: 6 Modules (3 Days Each) + 2 Examination Days
Total Duration: 20 Days (18 Days of Training + 2 Days for Examination)
Format: In-Person Training | Theory, Practical Skills & Clinical Casework
Outcome: Certificate in Canine Physiotherapy
Start of module 1: 3-5 december 2025
