The Chiropractic Academy for Research Leadership (CARL) is proud to announce its THIRD cohort of CARL Fellows for 2025 – 2027.

The CARL III Fellows are:

The CARL III cohort was selected from an impressive field over 40 early-career researchers who together are increasing the academic capacity of the chiropractic profession around the globe.

The Chiropractic Academy for Research Leadership was launched in 2017 with the aim of developing a global network of successful early-career chiropractic researchers under the mentorship of senior academics and the larger academic community. The new cohort of 16 Fellows will come together for their first residential at the University of Southern Denmark in May 2025 where they will also have the opportunity to meet and be mentored by many of the 27 Senior Fellows from Cohorts I and II.

CARL is made possible by our partners who are passionate about growing the academic footprint of the chiropractic profession.

Congratulations Cecilie Krage Øverås!!!

5,1 mill fra Helse-Midt til Cecilie Øverås sitt post doc prosjekt!!

Cecilie Krage Øverås har fått tildelt midler fra Helse Midt-Norge til å gjennomføre et post-doc prosjekt: En kunnskapsbasert, likeverdig, persontilpasset og bærekraftig helsetjeneste for personer med ryggsmerter.

Målet med prosjektet er: 1) å kartlegge typiske pasientforløp for personer med ryggsmerter på tvers av profesjon og helsetjenestenivå og om tilgang er likeverdig, 2) studere om variasjon i henvisningsrutiner påvirker utfall og 3) undersøke om bruk av helsetjenester, bildediagnostikk, medisinbruk og sykefravær er ulik for tidligere identifiserte rygg subgrupper, og hva som karakteriserer de som ikke søker hjelp.

!!! CARL II - THANK YOU !!!

The CARL II program has been an incredible journey. We have grown as researchers, collaborators, and leaders. The friendships, networks, and opportunities that have emerged from CARL II are invaluable, and we look forward to continuing these collaborations in the future.

As we concluded our third residential session in Edmonton, marking the program's official end, we feel like it's just the beginning of something even greater!!!! We thank our mentors for their support and guidance, and everyone else involved in making this program such a meaningful experience!

However, our biggest and most heartfelt thanks go to our sponsors, without whom this program would not have been possible!
