Lingo Media has won a tender to work for the European Commission as translator, proofreader and revisor.
We also just started copywriting for Google Bard, where we are writing strings for their AI. Additionally, we are also currently working with language quality assessment on a large project for Meta and also a project of 17500 words for Natus Medical. In our continued work for Microsoft, we were asked to take a test in order to become part of a team to work on tasks for MS Office and after a successful completion of the test, we were selected to join. We love being busy 😄

We recently onboarded two new linguists to handle NL > DA translation for Google and we are currently looking for one more linguist to handle FI > DA.
We have started working on a project for PayPal, which will continue for at least 3 months. We have joined a team as Language Lead to take care of translations and editing. The work also includes correspondence with PayPal staff and other linguists on Teams.
In other news, we are receiving some very positive feedback from our work for Microsoft. Other clients we are currently working for include: MyHeritage, NA-KD, Charles Machine (Ditch Witch), Arthrex GmbH, and Medela AG.

Happy New Year! What a great way to end the first week of 2023 with new projects from our clients Amazon, Bolia International, NA-KD, V-Zug and Google. It will be a busy last day of the week, which is the way we like it!

Was that it? We just completed another round of the e-commerce project for Amazon, but is this the end of the project? In any case, we are thankful for the work.
In other news, we are now working for Whatsapp and Meta following extensive training. We are thrilled to be working for them and we look forward to a lot more tasks and projects.
Honda has also provided us with a lot of projects for their marketing material, including TV commercials and texts for flyers and magazines.

As we concluded our MTPE (Machine Translation Post Editing) on Amazon's e-commerce project, they have now asked us to work on LQA (Language Quality Assurance) on the same project. The project should be completed by the end of July, which makes it one of the longest lasting projects we have had (4 months continuous work). We previously worked on a project for Apple that lasted 4 years, which is the longest lasting project we have worked on. In other news, we were told today that we have successfully passed a test to become a vendor for Meta (Facebook) and we will start working for them immediately.

For those of you in the localization industry, you may have noticed that Amazon is working on a huge localization project. They have asked multiple vendors around the world to help localize their content, which includes millions of words. We are thrilled to take part in this project, which will go on for at least the next two months.

Following a not particularly successful 2020, due to uncertainty in the market, we can now announce that we have already exceeded last year's earnings by a lot and 2021 is looking like Lingo Media's most successful year ever. The reason for this is quite clearly because there is a constant flow of assignments and new customers coming primarily from the medicinal industry.
We have initiated new partnerships and we are still working with our loyal customers that continuously provide satisfactory feedback. As we look ahead, there seems to be no end in sight for the constant influx of projects and we are confident that the final two quarterly reports of 2021 will be just as good as the first two.

We are currently working on a full marketing campaign for Allurion Technologies for their gastric balloon program. The materials we are working on are mostly printed marketing materials i.e. brochures, pamphlets, leaflets and instructions for patients and physicians. The program includes a scale, a health tracker watch and an app that are all connected. It's a brilliant program that helps people lose weight effectively.

During Autumn we joined forces with an Asian language service provider and now we have welcomed 195 freelance linguists specialising in European languages. This means that we now cover all of Eurasia and we also welcomed a number of freelance linguists from Brazil, Argentina and Chile, which means we can also cover the American continents. We are prepared to take on major international translation projects and look forward to working with new clients.

We are currently working on a manual for a windrower, which is taking up all our time. We have had to decline a number of projects, because we have to commit all our time to this project in order to meet the deadline. We are sorry for the inconvenience and we expect to be able to take in new assignments in the beginning of the new year. In the meantime, we are learning A LOT about all the parts in windrowers.

Den næste måneds tid kommer vi til at arbejde på en brugervejledning for MacDon Industries. Det bliver spændende at dykke ned i en af deres landbrugsmaskiner og skrive om alle de tekniske dele.

Vi har på det seneste haft nogle opgaver, hvor vi skulle lave undertekster og samtidig oversætte det talte i videoer. Det var bl.a. for et medicinalfirma i forbindelse med et COVID 19-projekt, og eksemplet i billedet har vi for nyligt lavet for en amerikansk kunde. Vi bruger programmet Aegisub, hvilket fungerer godt, når vi skal lave .srt-filer, som er undertekstfiler, man kan bruge sammen med videoen i f.eks. VLC Media Player. Til andre projekter, hvor underteksterne skal blive en del af videoen og ikke være en separat fil, bruger vi Movavi Video Editor.

Their main languages are Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Indonesian, Malay, Burmese, and Hindi. However, they also translate into other Asian languages. With their lingual expertise, along with our expertise in European languages, we are ready to take on large international projects for you.
