When sleep fails, enhance your night time routine 🌜🌛 According to Ayurveda, sleep is one of the three pillars of health. There are numerous herbs and oils that calm the nervous system and naturally restore balance. This unique blend of Himalayan herbs like jatamansi and night jasmine help you naturally relax, calm your mind and body, and drift effortlessly into sleep.

💤 How to use it:
Before falling asleep, take a few drops of the sleep oil and warm it between your palms. Massage your feet, forehead, temples and jaw for 3-5 minutes. Allow the oil to absorb into your skin and relax your muscles. Finally, bring your palms to your face and deeply inhale the aromas of the Himalayan herbs. Continue into deep sleep without interrupting this ritual.

Welcome to one of our newest Pilates teachers, Hannah. 🥰 Here’s a little bit about her in her own words:

Pilates continues to surprise me with how it shifts my mindset and brings me back into my body. It’s helped me move through life with more ease, awareness, and connection - and that’s what I hope to share with others.

I did my teacher training in Bali in both mat and reformer Pilates. My classes combine functional movement with mindful breath, encouraging curiosity and presence. We focus on toning, lengthening, and flexibility so you can leave class feeling grounded, open, and a little more at home in your body.

Many of your favorite teachers may be away for anywhere from a week to a month, but rest assured that you will see them again after a much deserved break. 🏝️

In the meantime, you can expect to see some friendly new faces around the studio from our lovely substitutes and a reduced schedule.

They are eager to create equally unique and meaningful experiences for you until our regular instructors come home. 💛

Meet one of our wonderful Pilates teachers, Liat 🥰 Here’s a little bit about her:

I’ve always loved sports and training, but never stuck to one. I first discovered Pilates as a student studying social work and the focus on breathing, movement, and muscle engagement gave me a much-needed break from the demands of school and work. Pilates became my escape, allowing me to be present and focused.

Over the years, I’ve worked as a social worker, as a recruitment consultant and as a customer success manager. I tried to always be focused on building relationships and understanding people’s needs and goals. A few years ago, I realized I wanted to help others find the same peace and comfort Pilates brought me. I aim to help clients take a break, breathe, move, and feel stronger in both body and mind, creating a deep connection between the two.

It’s rewarding to see clients finish a class feeling taller, looser, and more relaxed—like after a great massage. Pilates is like therapy for me, and I love hearing that my clients feel the same, as well as feel muscles they never knew they had.

Meet Karolína, one of our new yoga teachers at Dóttir 🥰

In her words:

My yoga journey has always been evolving, shifting as I continue to learn more about my body, my mind, and myself. I love blending traditional asanas with functional, intuitive movement, creating practices that feel both grounding and exploratory.

Every class I teach is built with care — each detail, sequence, and intention has its place and purpose. I enjoy weaving together anatomy, the physiology of breath, and the more subtle, energetic aspects of practice.

Rather than following a rigid script, my classes are an offering. I hold space for you to take what resonates, leave what doesn’t, and make each practice your own.

After many incredible classes, good energy, and amazingly tough pilates, on the right side and then on the left side, Athina has moved back to her home town to pursue new chapters in her life. Athina will be missed dearly by Dóttir staff and community and even though it was a tough decision for her to make, it was the right one at this point in the crossroads ❤️❤️🙏

Our Story

Dóttir HotYoga is an infrared hot yoga studio in Sydhavn, Copenhagen. We offer a variety of hot yoga classes throughout the day, as well as freshly pressed juice after each class. Our yoga room is heated using infrared heaters allowing you to get the most benefits from your practice, including boosting the immune system, detoxifying the body, and improving the skin.

Our goal at Dóttir HotYoga is to provide you with a serene, relaxed space where you can leave your worries and stresses behind. Whether you are stopping by for a yoga class to start your day or relax after work, we aim to be the health and wellness hub for the Sydhavn community. We look forward to seeing you at our studio!
