We are hosting a Christmas get together for all your internationals in Hjørring kommune. We will be singing Christmas carols, make Christmas crafts and "Hygge" with coffee and Danish “æbleskiver”.

The municipal and regional elections 2025.
You will receive a voting card by mail. On election day, bring your ID to your local polling station and cast your vote. The election takes place on 18 November 2025."

In Denmark, about 10% of all eligible voters are international residents. But this is also the group that votes the least. Your voice matters – let’s change that!

I 2024 fik 23.590 børn fra økonomisk trængte familier Julehjælp fra Dansk Folkehjælp. Og i år er det 18. år i træk, at vi uddeler hjælp til børnefamilier i hele Danmark.

Vi har netop åbnet ansøgningsportalen – ansøg om Julehjælp til og med d. 17. november. 📅

Your Vote Does Make a Difference!
The 18 of November is the election of members to local and reginal councils.

You can vote at regional and local elections, if you:
• are 18 years old
• have permanent residence in Denmark
• are a Danish citizen, citizen of another EU country, a Norwegian,
British or Icelandic citizen - or if you have lived in Denmark,
Greenland or the Faroe Islands for 4 years prior to the election.
