Le canal carpien est une pathologie très fréquente surtout chez la population âgée à partir de la quarantaine.
Il est souvent diagnostiqué cliniquement par l'apparition de douleurs au niveau du poignet pouvant même irradier vers l'avant bras, ainsi qu'une faiblesse musculaire ou impossiblité de bouger les doigts librement surtout la matinée.
Ceci pouvant être confirmé par un EMG des membres supérieurs.
C'est le cas de cette patiente qui a bénéficié d'une libération du nerf médian qui était comprimé par un ligament annulaire hypertrophié (comme le montre l'image ci dessous)
On performe souvent cette chirurgie a l'hôpital Youcef Damerdji, elle est considérée comme une "petite chirurgie", cela veut dire que le patient peut être opéré le jour même et mis sortant juste après l'intervention.

النفق الرسغي هو مرض شائع جدا، وخاصة عند الفئة العمرية ما فوق الأربعين سنة.
غالبًا ما يتم تشخيصه من خلال ظهور ألم في المعصم و يمتد حتى إلى الساعد، بالإضافة إلى ضعف العضلات أو عدم القدرة على تحريك الأصابع بحرية خاصة في الصباح.
يمكن تأكيد ذلك من خلال مخطط كهربي لليدين EMG.
هذا هو الحال بالنسبة لهذه المريضة التي استفادت من تحرير العصب المتوسط من تضخم الرباط الحلقي (كما هو موضح في الصورة أدناه).
يتم إجراء هذه الجراحة في مستشفى يوسف دمردجي بصفة روتينية، وتعتبر "جراحة صغيرة"، مما يعني أنه يمكن إجراءها للمريض في نفس اليوم و يمكنه مغادرة المستشفى بعدها مباشرة.

The carpal tunnel syndrom is a very common pathology, especially in the elderly population from their 40s onwards.
It is often diagnosed clinically by the appearance of pain in the wrist that can radiate to the forearm, as well as muscle weakness or inability to move the fingers freely especially in the morning.
This can be confirmed by an Electrophysiogram of the higher members.
This is the case of this patient who benefited from a median nerve decompression from an enlarged annular ligament (as shown in the image below).
This surgery is often performed at Youcef Damerdji Hospital, it is considered as a "small surgery," which means that the patient can be operated on the same day and may leave the hospital just after the procedure.
