On World Lymphoma Awareness Day, we raise our voice for better understanding, earlier recognition, and improved access to care for patients living with cutaneous lymphomas. Every symptom, every patient, every timely diagnosis matters.
Mycosis Fungoides, despite its misleading name, is not a fungal infection but a rare, slow-growing T-cell lymphoma that primarily affects the skin. In its early stages, it can mimic common conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis, or fungal infections, leading to years of misdiagnosis and delayed treatment.
Early and accurate diagnosis can change the course of the disease and the quality of life of those affected. Today is about awareness, empathy, and solidarity. By standing together, we can make sure every patient feels supported and every diagnosis comes in time.
