In our sacred plant medicine retreats, you will have the opportunity to explore the self and understand the true nature of your reality. The plant medicines are known to cleanse the mind, body, and spirit and are healing both physically and emotionally. The master plants are here to assist you on your journey to begin the inner-work, to expand your consciousness, and to re-connect to all that is. This will be a unique opportunity to sit with and learn about ancient practices in a serene, tropical oasis in coastal Ecuador. The experience is a retreat - meaning a time to withdraw from your everyday reality to reflect and bring more intention into your consciousness. During this time of retreat, we will work to reorganize all the dimensions of our being into one direction - including our body, mind, emotion, and energy.

In Ecuador, nourishment begins with the land itself, and the tropical fruits are abundant!

Papaya, passion fruit, watermelon, dragonfruit, banana, pineapple, guava, plums, and so much more arrive ripe, vibrant, and alive with enzymes that support digestion, hydration, and energy.

At Ayllu Medicina retreats, these fruits are available throughout the day and woven naturally into the retreat rhythm. Offered fresh, whole, and in abundance, they reflect both the lush land of the region and our commitment to delicious, healthy,, intentional nourishment.

Sometimes the medicine is in the simple things: a smile, a piece of fruit, and the body remembering what it needs.

Join us for our next virtual gathering on 14th May for our New Moon offering prayer. We would love to share more on this special day, wherever you are currently based in the world!

New Moon is a time where the light disappears, not as absence, but as an invitation. It is an Invitation to return to the unseen. To the quiet. To return to what has been running underneath your choices, your words, your relationships, and your direction.

It is a time where we always do an offering to the Earth, to recap, pause, and give thanks, as you can see from some of these photos! Songs become prayers when we sing together.

In our song circles, we gather to learn and share medicine songs and song prayers.

Through music, rhythm, and repetition, these prayers become something we can feel. They become a way to connect more deeply with the elements of the Earth, our gratitude, each other, and the moment.

At Ayllu Medicina, song circles are part of the integration process and a space to open the heart through music.

Never sang before? No problem! You can join in with others as you learn.

Purification is an essential part of returning to the heart.

At the Medicine of the Heart retreat this May 16-23rd, 2026, purification practices support the body and heart in letting go of resistance and stored patterns. Sweat lodges, ceremony, daily yoga, visualization and meditation practices to connect directly with our heart's electromagnetic field (toroid), and nourishing food help make the way for deeper alignment.

With the fire, the plants, and the Earth, we return to what is true.

The final day of our San Pedro retreat, ending in a shower of beauty!

Over this week, we walked together through days and nights of focusing on our purification and hearts.

Remembering a way of being that feels simple, connected, and true. Deep gratitude to this circle for your trust and presence, and to the Earth who makes all of this possible.

This was a week we will remember forever.
