In our sacred plant medicine retreats, you will have the opportunity to explore the self and understand the true nature of your reality. The plant medicines are known to cleanse the mind, body, and spirit and are healing both physically and emotionally. The master plants are here to assist you on your journey to begin the inner-work, to expand your consciousness, and to re-connect to all that is. This will be a unique opportunity to sit with and learn about ancient practices in a serene, tropical oasis in coastal Ecuador. The experience is a retreat - meaning a time to withdraw from your everyday reality to reflect and bring more intention into your consciousness. During this time of retreat, we will work to reorganize all the dimensions of our being into one direction - including our body, mind, emotion, and energy.

Yin yoga & Tibetan sound bowl healing : upcoming event

Join us this Tuesday for our New Moon Yin yoga & sound bowl healing at 4pm. Reset and recharge for the upcoming new moon on Wednesday and Equinox on Saturday.

Here is a preview of our classes… the session lasts 1.5 hours, with Tibetan sound bowls throughout the yin yoga poses and the option to have bowls placed on you during savasana.

Community Sweat Lodge

Friday 13th, 5pm

Join us this Friday for a purification in the womb of Mother Earth ahead of Equinox next week! This form of purification is a great way to release and reset before Equinox, and before our San Pedro ceremony.

13 is a sacred number aligned with the 13 moons of the year, and the 13 moons women experience every year. Join us on this day of good fortune for alignment and release.

Celebrating the Equinox

Join us as we gather in ceremony to honor the Equinox, a time of balance between day and night and a moment in the cycle of nature that invites reflection, realignment, and prayer.

The traditional ceremony with San Pedro includes prayers and songs and goes throughout the entire night until sunrise. It is a ceremony aligning the medicine of the North and South of America, where a collective healing space is shared through tobaccos and medicinal plants.

During the night we drink medicine and sing. It can be a profound process as we are able to confront our true selves, including what we want to be and how we will contribute to this Earth.

The purpose of the ceremony is to:
• Pray for our families
• Connect with ourselves and the Universe
• Find answers to important questions in our lives
• See our talents and confront our fears
• Come closer to what is alive inside of us

This knowledge can bring freedom and health and allow us to discover new aspects of our consciousness.
Everyone is welcome to this ceremony — all ages and conditions included.

San Pedro, also known as Huachuma, is a sacred master plant teacher that has been revered and used in the Andes for thousands of years. This heart-centered medicine is shared in ceremony with prayer, song, and intention.

Ayllu Medicina’s San Pedro Retreat is an opportunity to connect with this sacred master plant teacher in a supportive and intentional container. Throughout the week, we will share:

- Two San Pedro ceremonies (including a night fire ceremony)
- One Ayahuasca ceremony
- Sweat lodges (temazcales)
- Daily yoga, breathwork, and meditation
- Cold plunges and purification practices
- Wisdom workshops and sharing circles

San Pedro is a medicine that works with the energy of the heart. It can support a deeper connection to nature, strengthen the mind-body connection, and offer insight and clarity. During our night ceremony, we gather around the fire in song and prayer, and the second ceremony will be a daytime Power Walk into the jungle! Take a moment to pause and listen to Hwaneetah playing the flute in the beautiful space we visit for our San Pedro power walks. A time of connection to our main altar of Mother Earth, the water, and to the medicine of San Pedro, guiding us back to our true inner selves.

See some of you tonight in ceremony! We will be thinking of the Ayllu community and sending prayers from around the fire. If you have time, raise a medicine song, light a candle, or take a pause in nature to reconnect with your own essence.
