PAKARINKA USHAY is an Andean ceremonial and cultural education center in the rural indigenous community of Agato located at the foot of Tayta Imbabura, only a 15-minute drive from the cities of Cotacachi or Otavalo. Our indigenous yachak (shaman), Tayta Willka Willak offers workshops and retreats in the English language for groups of English-speaking participants. This multilingual seventh-generat
ion yachak has over 30 years of yachak training, teaching, and ceremonial experience. He has extensive in-depth knowledge to share with visitors and participants about pre-Incan and modern Andean indigenous spiritual beliefs, ceremonial practices, and how to follow his people's ancestral path to a wholesome, balanced, healthy and happy life connected with nature. Tayta Willak and his brothers created the first Pakarinka building over twenty years ago. Here and around the world, he has led thousands of ceremonies, healings and spiritual energy cleansings. This new Pakarinka Ushay education program for English speakers was created in May 2024 to bring more balance to the world, helping people everywhere learn how to better connect with nature using the ancestral wisdom of the Andean people.
Tayta Willak speaks Kichwa, English, Spanish, French, and Italian. You can read more about Tayta Willka Willak Guillermo Santillán's in the BIOGRAPHY, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS, and RECOMMENDATIONS sections of our website www.pakarinkaushay.org.
