🏆VocDec is the winner of the IMPACT PRIZE & the AUDIENCE AWARD of EIT Health!🏆

The 8-month long journey in the EIT Jumpstarter innovation program has successfully ended for VocDec. What started with selection out of 96 top European Healthcare teams, resulted after 3 evaluation rounds to the finals. In this well organised event we had a chance to pitch together with 6 best teams in the category. We are extremely proud that the program ended with high recognition both from the jury and audience! 🌟

We are excited use this for further advancement of VocDec! 🚀

🚀We are excited to accelerate the development of VocDec with support of Health Founders. Being selected together with the other promising ehealth startups for the first batch is a honour. The first weeks have been very helpful and fruitful. Read more about our recent work and thoughts below. ⬇️

🎉VocDec is selected as top 15 health startups in Europe🎉

🎯 After initial selection of 96 startups to 24 in the first round of the EIT Jumpstarter program. We are now more than proud to announce that VocDec is selected as one of the top 15 health startups in Europe by the European Institute for Technology & Innovation (EIT).

👩‍💻In the past weeks the team of VocDec participated in online workshops from the EIT Jumpstarter program. The workshops are guiding VocDec to develop our product and positively influence the European healthcare sector and ended with a final pitch. Through the pitch, VocDec was able to convince an international jury of its potential. Which resulted in VocDec being selected as one of the top 15 health startups in Europe.

🗺 Being selected as one of the top 15 health startups in Europe means that VocDec can participate in the next workshop round. This round consists of 40 hours of guidance and will take place at a location yet to be determined, for which VocDec team members will travel to at the expense of EIT.

🥁 Proudly we would like to announce that VocDec is selected and enrolled in the 4th annual European Institute for Technology & Innovation (EIT) Jumpstarter program!

⭐️ EIT Jumpstarter is a pan-European pre-accelerator program supported by the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT). The goal of the program is to drive innovation across Europe by integrating business, education and research to find solutions to pressing global challenges. The program is last year awarded as “best training initiative” in Europe.

‼️ VocDec is one of the 24 selected teams out of in total 90+ teams who applied from whole Europe in the category “Health” for the first phase of the EIT Jump starter program.

🌐 The first phase of the program consists of 3 bootcamps focused on development of our innovative idea. With travel restrictions in Europe the bootcamps will take place in May and June in an online environment and result in a final pitch.

🗣 We are eager to learn and very excited to show the potential of VocDec to Europe’s best in class healthcare innovators. In addition to excitement we are truly motivated to perform the best final pitch of our lives, what hopefully results that VocDec will be 1 of the 15 teams in category “Health” who will be selected for phase 2 of the Jumpstarter program.

💡 VocDec team in the 4th Health Hackathon!

The 4th Digital Health Hackathon brought us together.
🧠 Our development team is working hard to develop a cry-based autism detection software. VocDec is a non-invasive tool for to diagnose autism based on baby’s crying patterns.
📚 Prior studies have shown that there is difference in the cry of autistic babies when compared to others.

The 4th annual Digital Health Hackathon took place on 5-6 December. In total, 6 teams were formed on day 1 who were challenged to work on various digital health solutions, ranging from voice recognition apps to new methods for distributing pharmaceuticals.
