It was fun to do YOGAFUNC with an actual group of people in front of us. My main studio is online so this type of an set-up is rare for me nowadays. 😊 We should do more of these, what do you think? If we organize special YOGAFUNC classes, would you join? We could do themed classes. YOGAFUNC for beginners? Music themes like hard rock, hip hop, etc? We have 51 releases so quite a large music bank to choose from.

Good evening dear yoga community,

Today, I heard the news that Sharath Jois, the grandson of Sri K. Pattabhi Jois, has passed away. This is shocking news for the entire Ashtanga community, and especially for his family left behind. Our thoughts go out to them during this difficult time.

Let this be a reminder that this moment, right here and now, is truly all we have. We never know when our last day will come. Take care of yourself and the loved ones around you. We’re just passing through, and there’s an end date to this journey.

I turned 50 two days ago. Years ago, I said something that feels worth repeating now. Every year we celebrate our birthday, but do we ever think about how one of these days will also be our death day? So far, we’ve passed it, but one day we won’t. We don’t know when that day will be, but we know we’re here now.

Be here now.
