Today, AmCham Estonia held the founding meeting of its new Defense, Security and Resilience Committee at COBALT.Legal, marking a key step in strengthening dialogue and cooperation in security-related sectors.
The committee unites AmCham members active in defense, cybersecurity, critical infrastructure, transportation, energy, dual-use technologies, and other resilience areas, serving as a platform for engagement with Estonian and U.S. stakeholders. It launches with strong interest from over 20 companies, including Raytheon RTX Business, Google, COBALT Legal, Microsoft, Motorola Solutions, G4S, Port of Tallinn / Tallinna Sadam, Exponaut, Amazon Web Services(AWS), Sorainen Eesti, Hedman Law Firm, META Advisory, TalTech - Tallinn University of Technology, Miltton New Nordics, Nortal, Buckthorn, EO59, Telia Eesti, Palo Alto Networks, CEC Group, and New Gauge Initiative.
Jesse Kivisaari, Partner at COBALT Legal, was elected the first Chairman. “The committee offers a framework to develop ideas, business, and transatlantic cooperation in defense and security,” he said.
