Highlighting a tool from our PATSAFE Toolbox!
Involving patients in patient safety improvement gets more and more attention.
Do you want to start with involving patients in patient safety but you do not know where to start? This tool provides a framework that helps you thinking about involving patients in patient safety. The framework describes three levels of patient involvement in patient safety across three different levels of the healthcare system. It also presents examples of patient involvement. We are glad to announce that on Friday April 1st, Dr. Marjan Meinders will give a webinar entitled “Patient Involvement in practice and research”, in the context of the PATSAFE Project. The webinar aims at describing the concept of patient involvement and the relevance of patient involvement in clinical practice and in research.
Dr. Marjan Meinders is a senior researcher specialized in Person centered care at the Neurology department and IQ healthcare, Radboudumc, Radboud university medical center in The Netherlands.
