🔬 Exploring the Future of Digital PCR

This week we teamed up with Thermo Fisher Scientific and their dPCR and qPCR applications scientist Jevgenij Varsavskij for an exclusive demo session in Tartu, focused on the power and potential of digital PCR.

Together, we explored the Applied Biosystems™ QuantStudio™ Absolute Q™ Digital PCR System. The session featured a hands-on demonstration of copy number determination, including real-time assay setup and live data analysis.

We're proud to support the local scientific community by introducing cutting-edge technologies and fostering hands-on learning opportunities.

🔧 Key Highlights of the QuantStudio™ Absolute Q™ Digital PCR System:

• Integrated Workflow: Combines partitioning, thermal cycling, and data acquisition in a single instrument, streamlining the digital PCR process.
• Microfluidic Array Plate (MAP) Technology: Utilizes 20,480 fixed microchambers per reaction, ensuring high precision and consistency.
• High Sample Utilization: Analyzes over 95% of the input sample, minimizing waste compared to other platforms.
• Rapid Turnaround: Delivers results in under 90 minutes, enhancing laboratory efficiency.
• Multiplexing Capability: Supports up to four targets in a single reaction, facilitating comprehensive analyses.
• Advanced Software: Features intuitive analysis tools, including confidence intervals, CNV calculations, and batch processing capabilities.

sTARTUp Day may be over, but we’re still buzzing from all the amazing discussions! Day 2—Let’s Go! 🚀

Yesterday was amazing! The Lanmer Group booth was packed, and we barely had time to catch our breath—so many people stopped by, excited to learn more about what we do and explore one of our Hardware Venture Studio startups, Brain Music Innovations. It’s inspiring to see this much interest in pushing technology and science forward!

On top of that, we had some fantastic meetings and exciting new opportunities, making next week a full-on work sprint after this year’s sTARTUp Day.
