From Burn Trauma.. to Biological Recovery..!🌹
This 42 years old patient came to my clinic 5 months after a gas cylinder explosion with significant post burn sequelae affecting the the full facial area.!!
On examination, there was:
• Persistent post-burn erythema and vascular congestion
• Extensive nasal telangiectasia
• Thickened, irregular hypertrophic scarring with fibrotic texture.
• A strong keloid tendency, raising the risk of aggressive scar progression
• Ongoing inflammatory activity and compromised barrier function
This was a high risk remodeling case. The priority was to calm vascular activity, control fibroblast overdrive, and guide regeneration safely..!!✨
A tailored multimodal protocol was implemented:
• Pulsed Dye Laser (PDL) to selectively target pathological vasculature and nasal telangiectasia, reducing persistent erythema and vascular drive.
• Botulinum Toxin injections to decrease mechanical tension and modulate scar remodeling and evolution “especially important in keloid prone skin”
• A regenerative combination of Exosomes + Growth Factors to enhance cellular signaling, support organized collagen remodeling, and improve dermal quality.
The objective was not just visual improvement, but controlled remodeling in a keloid susceptible patient…!!✨
The outcome after 10 sessions with 3 weeks interval demonstrates:
- Improved vascular stability.
- Reduced scar bulk and surface irregularity specially at the nasal and forehead areas.
- Better texture and skin quality.
- A more harmonious and resilient skin structure.
