🔷 🔷 وزير التعليم العالي ومحافظ الإسكندرية والقائم بأعمال رئيس جامعة الإسكندرية يفتتحون مشروعات صحية كبرى بجامعة الإسكندرية بتكلفة 632 مليون جنيه
افتتح الدكتور عبدالعزيز قنصوة، وزير التعليم العالي والبحث العلمي، يرافقه المهندس أيمن عطية محافظ الإسكندرية، والدكتور أحمد عادل عبدالحكيم القائم بأعمال رئيس جامعة الإسكندرية، عددًا من المشروعات الصحية الجديدة بالمستشفيات الجامعية بجامعة الإسكندرية، وذلك بحضور اللواء أح / علاء الدين عيسى رئيس أركان المنطقة الشمالية العسكرية، ولفيف من قيادات الوزارة والجامعة والمستشفيات الجامعية، وعمداء الكليات، وأعضاء مجلسي النواب والشيوخ، وممثلي المجتمع المدني.
تأتي هذه الافتتاحات في إطار خطة الدولة المصرية للارتقاء بالمنظومة الصحية وتطوير المستشفيات الجامعية باعتبارها أحد الركائز الأساسية لتقديم الخدمة الطبية والتعليم الطبي والبحث العلمي، من خلال دعم البنية التحتية، وزيادة الطاقة الاستيعابية، وتزويد المستشفيات بأحدث الأجهزة والتقنيات الطبية.
شهدت الجولة افتتاح وتفقد عدد من مشروعات التطوير بالمستشفى الرئيسي الجامعي، والتي شملت رفع كفاءة وتطوير أقسام الأورام والعناية المركزة والقسطرة القلبية والأشعة التداخلية، إلى جانب تطوير غرف العمليات وغرف الإفاقة، وتحديث أقسام جراحة المخ والأعصاب والعيون والمسالك البولية، بما يسهم في تحسين جودة الخدمة الطبية المقدمة للمرضى وتوفير رعاية صحية متكاملة وفق أحدث المعايير العالمية.
كما تم افتتاح أعمال تطوير مستشفى المواساة الجامعي، والتي تضمنت وحدة الأشعة التداخلية ووحدة فصل وتخزين الخلايا الجذعية، فضلًا عن متابعة أعمال التطوير بمستشفى الشاطبي الجامعي للتوليد وأمراض النساء ومستشفى الشاطبي للأطفال، بما يشمل دعم وحدات المبتسرين وغرف العمليات والمناظير وتحديث الأجهزة الطبية.
وفي كلمته، أكد الدكتور عبدالعزيز قنصوة أن ما تشهده مستشفيات جامعة الإسكندرية من طفرة تطوير غير مسبوقة يأتي تنفيذًا لتوجيهات القيادة السياسية، بقيادة السيد الرئيس عبدالفتاح السيسي، التي تضع صحة المواطن المصري على رأس أولويات الدولة، مشيرًا إلى أن الاستثمار في تطوير المستشفيات الجامعية هو استثمار مباشر في بناء الإنسان المصري وتعزيز قدرات الدولة الصحية والعلمية.
وأشاد الوزير بالدور الحيوي الذي تقوم به جامعة الإسكندرية في تنفيذ خطط التطوير والتحديث، مثمنًا جهود الأطقم الطبية وأعضاء هيئة التدريس والعاملين، وكذلك مساهمات المجتمع المدني والقطاع الخاص في دعم مشروعات التطوير، مؤكدًا أن هذا التكامل يعكس نموذجًا ناجحًا للشراكة في دعم القطاع الصحي.
ومن جانبه، أعرب الدكتور أحمد عادل عبدالحكيم، القائم بأعمال رئيس جامعة الإسكندرية، عن اعتزازه بما تحقق من إنجازات داخل المستشفيات الجامعية، مؤكدًا أن الجامعة تمضي بخطى ثابتة نحو تنفيذ استراتيجيتها الشاملة لتطوير المنظومة الصحية والتعليمية والبحثية، بما يعزز مكانتها كمؤسسة أكاديمية وطبية رائدة على المستويين المحلي والإقليمي.
وأشار إلى أن هذه المشروعات تمثل نقلة نوعية في مستوى الخدمات الطبية المقدمة، وتسهم في رفع كفاءة التدريب الطبي والبحث العلمي، مؤكدًا استمرار الجامعة في تطوير بنيتها التحتية وتعزيز قدراتها الاستيعابية والتكنولوجية بما يواكب التطورات العالمية.
وفي كلمته، أكد المهندس أيمن عطية محافظ الإسكندرية أن ما تشهده المستشفيات الجامعية من تطوير يعكس اهتمام الدولة بتوفير خدمات صحية متقدمة للمواطنين والارتقاء بجودة الرعاية الطبية داخل محافظة الإسكندرية، بما يتماشى مع خطط التنمية في القطاع الصحي، وأشاد بدور جامعة الإسكندرية في دعم المنظومة الصحية بالمحافظة من خلال مستشفياتها الجامعية، التي تمثل أحد الركائز الأساسية في تقديم الخدمة الطبية والتدريب والبحث العلمي، مؤكدًا أن هذه المشروعات تمثل إضافة مهمة تعزز من كفاءة وقدرة المنظومة الصحية على تلبية احتياجات المواطنين.
وأوضح الدكتور تامر عبدالله حلمي عميد كلية الطب ورئيس مجلس إدارة المستشفيات الجامعية بجامعة الإسكندرية، أن المستشفيات الجامعية شهدت خلال الفترة الماضية تنفيذ العديد من المشروعات الهامة، التي أسهمت في رفع كفاءة البنية التحتية وتحسين مستوى الخدمات الصحية والعلاجية المقدمة للمواطنين، بما يعزز قدرة المستشفيات على تلبية احتياجات المرضى وتقديم رعاية طبية متكاملة وفق أحدث المعايير الطبية، موجهًا الشكر لمؤسسات المجتمع المدني والقطاع الخاص على ما يقدمونه من دعم فعّال وجهود ملموسة في تطوير المستشفيات الجامعية بجامعة الإسكندرية.
وأشار الدكتور عصام بديوي، القائم بأعمال المدير التنفيذي للمستشفيات الجامعية، إلى أن الجامعة حرصت على تجهيز المستشفيات الجامعية، بأحدث الأجهزة الطبية وزيادة القدرة الاستيعابية، لضمان تقديم خدمات صحية تليق بالمواطنين، مؤكدًا أن الشراكة المجتمعية تمثل عنصرًا أساسيًا في دعم خطط التطوير وتحسين جودة الخدمات الصحية، بما يحقق أهداف الدولة في الارتقاء بالمنظومة الطبية وتوفير خدمات علاجية متميزة للمواطنين.
شهد الافتتاح تكريم عدد من الشخصيات والجهات والمؤسسات الداعمة، تقديرًا لإسهاماتهم البارزة في دعم مشروعات التطوير بالمستشفيات الجامعية، حيث تم تكريم ممثلي مؤسسات المجتمع المدني ورجال الأعمال، إلى جانب عدد من القيادات الطبية والإدارية والعاملين الذين كان لهم دور فاعل في تنفيذ هذه المشروعات، تقديرًا لدعمهم المستمر، الذي كان له بالغ الأثر في إنجاز هذه الطفرة الكبيرة في تطوير البنية الصحية، وتعزيز قدرة المستشفيات الجامعية على أداء دورها الخدمي والعلاجي والبحثي على أكمل وجه.
Minister of Higher Education, Alexandria Governor, and Acting President of Alexandria University inaugurate major healthcare projects at Alexandria University at a cost of EGP 632 million
Dr. Abdelaziz Konsowa, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, inaugurated a number of new healthcare projects at Alexandria University Hospitals, accompanied by Eng. Ayman Attia, Governor of Alexandria, and Prof. Ahmed Adel Abdel Hakim, Acting President of Alexandria University. The inauguration was attended by Major General Staff / Alaa El-Din Eissa, Chief of Staff of the Northern Military Region, along with senior officials from the Ministry, the University, university hospitals, deans of faculties, members of the House of Representatives and Senate, and representatives of civil society.
These inaugurations come within the framework of the Egyptian state's plan to advance the healthcare system and develop university hospitals, as they represent a fundamental pillar in providing medical services, medical education, and scientific research, through upgrading infrastructure, increasing capacity, and equipping hospitals with the latest medical technologies.
The tour included the inauguration and inspection of several development projects at the Main University Hospital, including the upgrading of oncology, intensive care, cardiac catheterization, and interventional radiology units, in addition to the development of operating rooms and recovery units, and the modernization of neurosurgery, ophthalmology, and urology departments, contributing to improving the quality of healthcare services and providing integrated medical care in accordance with the latest international standards.
The visit also included the inauguration of development works at El-Mowasat University Hospital, including the interventional radiology unit and the stem cell separation and storage unit, as well as reviewing development works at El-Shatby University Hospital for Obstetrics and Gynecology and El-Shatby Children’s Hospital, including upgrading neonatal units, operating rooms, endoscopy units, and medical equipment.
In his speech, Dr. Abdelaziz Konsowa affirmed that the unprecedented development witnessed by Alexandria University Hospitals reflects the directives of the political leadership, under the leadership of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, which places citizens’ health at the top of the state’s priorities. He noted that investing in the development of university hospitals is a direct investment in building the Egyptian citizen and enhancing the state’s healthcare and scientific capabilities.
The Minister praised the vital role played by Alexandria University in implementing development and modernization plans, commending the efforts of medical staff, faculty members, and employees, as well as the contributions of civil society and the private sector, stressing that such integration represents a successful model of partnership in supporting the healthcare sector.
For his part, Prof. Ahmed Adel Abdel Hakim, Acting President of Alexandria University, expressed his pride in the achievements realized within university hospitals, affirming that the University is steadily moving forward in implementing its comprehensive strategy to develop the healthcare, educational, and research systems, thus strengthening its position as a leading academic and medical institution at both the local and regional levels.
He added that these projects represent a qualitative leap in the level of healthcare services provided and contribute to enhancing medical training and scientific research, affirming the University’s continued efforts to upgrade its infrastructure and expand its technological and operational capacities in line with global advancements.
In his remarks, Eng. Ayman Attia, Governor of Alexandria, emphasized that the development taking place in university hospitals reflects the state's commitment to providing advanced healthcare services and improving the quality of medical care in Alexandria Governorate, in line with national development plans in the health sector. He praised the role of Alexandria University in supporting the healthcare system through its university hospitals, which represent a cornerstone in providing medical services, training, and research, affirming that these projects significantly enhance the system’s capacity to meet citizens’ needs.
Dr. Tamer Abdallah Helmy, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the Board of Alexandria University Hospitals, stated that the hospitals have recently witnessed the implementation of several important projects that contributed to upgrading infrastructure and improving the quality of healthcare services, enhancing their ability to meet patients’ needs and provide integrated medical care according to the latest standards. He also expressed his appreciation to civil society institutions and the private sector for their effective support.
Dr. Essam Badawy, Acting Executive Director of University Hospitals, indicated that the University has been keen on equipping hospitals with the latest medical devices and increasing their capacity to ensure the provision of high-quality healthcare services, emphasizing that community partnership remains a key pillar in supporting development plans and improving healthcare quality.
The inauguration concluded with honoring a number of individuals, entities, and supporting institutions in recognition of their significant contributions to the development of university hospitals. Representatives of civil society, business leaders, as well as several medical and administrative leaders and staff members were honored for their impactful role in the implementation of these projects and their continuous support, which has greatly contributed to achieving this major advancement in healthcare infrastructure and enhancing the hospitals’ ability to fulfill their service, medical, and research roles.
