في حلقة النهارده كان لينا الشرف بوجود البروفيسور شريف حافظ، أستاذ الغدد الصماء والسكر بالقصر العيني، في فعاليات مؤتمر DIAEgypt @ في نسخته ال17 مع .yehia.abokaram

خلال المؤتمر، تم التأكيد على مفهوم العلاج الشامل لمرض السكر—مش بس التحكم في مستوى السكر، لكن كمان الاهتمام بصحة القلب والكلى والأعصاب، في إطار متكامل بيضمن أفضل رعاية للمريض.

واحدة من أهم الرسائل كانت إن الاكتشاف المبكر وضبط السكر من البداية بيساهم بشكل كبير في تقليل المضاعفات على المدى الطويل، وبيحسن جودة حياة المريض بشكل ملحوظ.
