A 47-year-old male was referred to Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department, Al Mokatam hospital . The patient presented with a large painless swelling on the left cheek region. serious discomfort during chewing and talking. The medical and family history was non-contributory to the chief complaint. The swelling was not associated with paresthesia, ulceration or discharge. The extraoral examination revealed a solitary non-fluctuating swelling in the left side of the mandible extending from the corner of the mouth to the angle of the mandible.
The patient also had a small papillary swelling which was excised and biopsied at the same operation. Pathological report diagnosed it as squamous cell papilloma
