📌 Anyone can make slides. Few can make an impact.
For , presentations are part of our daily life.

Whether you’re a , , or …
→ You’re sharing data.
→ Educating HCPs.
→ Pitching strategies to leadership.

✔But here’s the truth:

Presenting slides and engaging an audience is not easy. It’s not just about dropping text and images onto slides.

👉It’s about crafting a clear, concise message—and making sure every element on your slides has a purpose.

Here’s how to level up your presentation skills:

✅ Design with Intent
• Every point should support your key message.
• Avoid clutter that distracts your audience.
• Less is often more.

✅ Purposeful Visuals
• Images and charts should clarify, not confuse.
• Don’t decorate; communicate.

✅ Color Counts
• Use color strategically to guide attention.
• Maintain consistency for a professional look.

✅ Slides Are Support, Not the Star
• Your slides should amplify your voice, not replace it.
• You are the storyteller. PowerPoint is your sidekick.

✅ Keep It Audience-Centric
• Think about what your audience needs to understand.
• Make it easy for them to follow and remember your message.

Because in our industry, clarity isn’t optional—it’s critical.
Your slides have the power to educate, influence, and drive action.
Make every slide count.

⏸️ How to Express your ideas Effectively

Effective communication is essential for success in all areas of life, from personal relationships to professional careers.

⚠️When you can express yourself clearly and concisely, you are more likely to be understood, get your point across, and build rapport with others.⚠️

✍️✍️Here are some tips on how to express yourself effectively:

☑️ Know your audience.
Before you start speaking or writing, take a moment to think about who you are talking to. What are their needs and interests? What level of knowledge do they have about the topic? Tailor your message to your audience so that it is clear, concise, and relevant to them.

☑️ Be clear and concise.
Avoid using technical terms that your audience may not understand. Get to the point quickly and don't waste words.

☑️Be specific.
Don't just say "I'm angry." Say "I'm angry because you didn't keep your promise to meet me yesterday."

☑️ Be positive.
Focus on the positive aspects of your message. Avoid using negative words and phrases.

☑️ Be open to feedback.
Be willing to listen to feedback from others and be willing to make changes to your message if necessary.

☑️Listen actively.
When someone is speaking to you, give them your full attention. Make eye contact, nod your head, and ask questions to show that you are listening.

☑️ Use body language effectively.
Your body language can communicate a lot about you, so be aware of how you are using it. Make eye contact, smile, and use open gestures to show that you are approachable and interested in what the other person is saying.

By following these tips, you can improve your communication skills and get your point across to your audience.

How to access product information❓❓

This was our last session with our colleagues from different universities through program organized by Academy of Pharmaceutical Affairs (APA) and EPSF ERU.

☑️SPCs and product websites are valuable sources of scientific information about medicines.

✍️They provide detailed information about the properties and approved conditions of use of a medicine. They are a reliable source of information, as they are created by regulatory agencies and pharmaceutical companies. They are easy to access, as they are typically available online.

If you are looking for scientific information about a medicine, SPCs and product websites are a good place to start.

⚠️However, it is important to remember that they are not the only sources of information available.

Here are some additional resources where you can get scientific information about medicines:

* FDA
https://lnkd.in/ddsc8BPE
* European Medicines Agency: https://lnkd.in/d59w3yk5
* Medicines.org.uk: https://lnkd.in/d4hnd5ap
* National Institutes of Health: https://www.nih.gov/
* MedlinePlus: https://medlineplus.gov/

Looking forward to meet all of our colleagues again in future career development sessions 🙏

🧠 Rethinking Answers: The Power of Storytelling!

Ever wondered how a small shift in our approach to answering questions can create a huge impact?

During our session yesterday with my colleagues in Students Development Program ( ) in collaboration with Academy of Pharmaceutical Affairs (APA) and EPSF ERU we discussed how to apply storytelling and logical order in our answers to create an with our communication.

The Order

🔍 Logic Order: When we rethink our answers by organizing our thoughts logically, we unlock clarity and coherence. Starting with a clear introduction, followed by key points in a structured sequence, and wrapping up with a conclusive summary creates a smooth flow of information that's easy to grasp.

📚 Techniques:
Weaving your answers into a narrative captivates your audience. Imagine starting with an engaging anecdote or relatable scenario that hooks your listeners. Then, gradually introduce the core ideas as your plot unfolds, keeping them engaged. And finally, wrap it up with a memorable conclusion.

Here's how it works:

Imagine you're explaining a complex medical concept. Instead of diving straight into details, begin with a relatable patient story. As you progress, introduce the medical intricacies, followed by evidence-based insights. Finally, wrap up by connecting it back to the patient's journey and the broader medical landscape.

By combining logic order and storytelling, you not only make your answers easy to follow but also make them memorable. You transform information into an experience that resonates with your audience, whether it's colleagues, patients, or stakeholders.

Create a journey that guides your audience seamlessly from start to finish, leaving them informed and inspired.

Do you have a development plan?

Creating a solid career development plan is your roadmap to success.

Yesterday, I was honored to meet colleagues from different universities to discuss how to build their career development plan in collaboration with APA Academy & EPSF ERU.

Here's a breakdown of the steps to create your plan.

1. Identifying Objectives: 🎯
Start by setting clear career objectives. What are your short-term and long-term goals? Define where you want to be in a year, five years.
This gives you a clear direction to work towards.

2. SWOT Analysis:
Conduct a SWOT analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) to assess your current position. Identify your strengths and build on them, address weaknesses, seize opportunities, and mitigate threats.

3. Gap Analysis:
Compare your current skills and qualifications with the requirements of your desired role. Pinpoint the gaps - the areas where you need improvement or new skills. This analysis is crucial for focused growth.

4. Development Plan: 📈
Based on your SWOT and gap analysis, create a detailed development plan. Break down your goals into smaller, achievable milestones. Outline the steps you'll take to bridge the gaps and enhance your skills.

5. Learning and Skill Acquisition: 🧠💡
- Formal Education: Consider certifications, courses, or degrees that align with your career goals.
- On-the-Job Learning: Learn from colleagues, mentors, and hands-on experiences in your current role.
- Skill-sharing Platforms: Utilize online platforms for self-paced learning.
- Networking: Attend workshops, seminars, and conferences to learn from industry experts.
- Mentorship: Seek guidance from experienced professionals in your field.

Remember, building a successful career is a continuous journey. Stay adaptable, embrace change, and keep reassessing and updating your plan as you progress. Your growth is in your hands!.
